One of my favorite things about someone leaving for a trip is carrying on conversation in their absense.

So let's discuss something!

Can I just say how funny it is that everyone who has posted on this page is currently on the Dis EXCEPT for Christine!

Oh! It's linked to the thread. I started it one day while being sad and lonely with no clique. It's for fans of "Sweet Valley Twins" and "Baby-Sitters Club" books in the 80s. I mean we don't talk about that really but it was just something to get people there.

I tried to steer the convo towards books... but it's kind of taken off into the land of discussing "hot guys". Not sure what age group I ended up attracting!

Just checking in to say hi! I'm here in the World getting ready to start my day. Yesterday was monsoon rains from ~11 to ~2 so I just hung around Pop, did some work , and took the DVC tour. What did I decide? Well, I haven't. But I am tempted!

On the agenda for today is Animal Kingdom - a photography meet around the Tree of Life, lunch at Brown Derby , the WDW Today backstage party for their 500th episode, a DIS drink around the world meet in Epcot and tonight I think Lynn and Chuck are doing their unofficial meet on the Poly beach. It is "cold" here today - low 60's- but tomorrow should be up in the 70's.

Bought lots of souvies and Christmas presents already, had perhaps the best margarita ever, got a good light fixture picture for LL, had 2 different men "flirt" with me (so what if they were over 60 ). Seems like this will be a good trip!!

I'm so glad you're having fun That tour is something...huh??? I'm IN LOVE with the AKV bathroom.... it's almost as big as your room at POP

hmmmm... OK If she DOESN'T I'll buy the first round of Grand Mariner Slushies on the Gnome trip (limit of 10... I have to do that, cause our group may be up to 30 by April!!)!! ..... Christine I'll buy you one either way..so don't let the thought of free booze prevent you from buying in!!

Hi everyone!

Checking in again while I munch on my breakfast and get ready to head out. Weather has been quite cool - jeans and a fleece most of the time - but still having a great time!

I've met Chuck and Lynn and Heather (Circusgirl) and lots of other DIS'ers.

The Toy Story Mania party last night was AMAZING. I must have ridden it 20+ times!!! With no wait!!!! It was magical to be in the park after closing and great to meet so many other DIS'ers.

I'm over at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Also AMAZING. AND.... someone got an upgrade to savannah view! No one is outside right now but yesterday I saw zebras, giraffes, red river hog and something else I can't identify. Still love Beach Club but this is really cool too. Especially with the holiday decorations.

And for those of you betting... I haven't decided on DVC yet.

Today is MK and the candlelight processional tonight. Tomorrow is the Yuletide Fantasy tour and dinner at Jiko!

As for the upgrade- AWESOME! How exciting. And I'm SOOO jealous about the Mousefest Meet at TSM- that would be soooo cool. Glad you got to meet Chuck, Lynn, and Heather. That's so neat!

Wow 20 times!!!! I only survived 4 times before my arm said enough! I'm glad to hear that you are having a great time. And I can't believe that we were at 2 of the same Mousefest events (DISMania & Tree of Life) and I didn't track you down.
