On the one hand that sounds cold but on the other it was in the 30's and snowing here in CT so I think I'll take Orlando and temps in the 60's! My new fleece arrived in the mail so I'm ready!!

Um. Yea. The temp currently is 17 here. (Woohoo! It done warmed up! ) and tommorow the high will be 34 so it will be a friggin' HEAT WAVE!

Which one of you will post a pic of Christine first?

Well I just got a note yesterday that my photopass CD is in the mail. But since I'm leaving on Thursday I probably won't be able to post any pictures until after I'm back.

Yes, the 19 on my car thermometer yesterday morning really put temps in the 60's in perspective!

I posted this over on Lynn's PTR too but here you go!

I don't know if you know this or not but I just watched a clip about the Osborne Lights at DHS. Apparently a purple cat is hid in the decorations every year. The mistakenly took the purple cat from the Osborne's when they moved the lights to Florida, it was part of their Halloween decorations so now every year they hide it. Good Luck finding it!

However..it was discovered that the maps do NOT include Space Mtn OR Carousel of Progress

Better try to catch CoP while you're there...don't know what's up with that!! I heard that SM is gonna be down for refirb almost all year...may be why its not on there...but CoP!!!

Funny you should ask. Serious case of deja vu over here. No packing. Not a bit. Even less than last time b/c I haven't done laundry either. In my defense I just got home from work ~30 min ago a little before 10pm.

What is the celebrations dvd? The annual planning dvd for the what will you celebrate promo? Weird that maps don't include either... that is a scoop! You should post that on some other boards and see what the conspiracy theorists think. I'm not a SM fan but love COP and didn't see that last time so it is definitely on the list!!

I looked at the maps... the buildings are on there...but they are not numbered or listed in the "attractions" very much like how the Wonders of Life pavillion disappeared in name but the building is still on the maps.... strange

Don't worry about packing.... you can always toss a ppair of gutchies in your purse...and buy a new wardrobe when you get there

No rumor as to ANYTHING regarding CoP...yet.... but if someone reads your post... I guess WE may have started one

None of the consiracy folks have any clue either... that I saw. Maybe just an extended refirb. Seriously, it's one of Walt's babies. They may overhaul it...or maybe keep it down temporarily due to a drop in attendence... but I can't imagine them closing it

Regardless...hop on this week. Who knows when you'll get another chance!!

I'm tempted by the idea of October... but it will be VERY tough it would almost have to be a cash ressie. I'm using my extra developer points in Feb... and I'm borrowing from 2010 AKV for the November trip... that one's gonna take 422 (2br savanna view in kidani) which leaves me EXACTLY enough for the Gnomes in April 2010.

Yes. I think I will take the tour. But I haven't baked it into the schedule. Keep an open mind re: October. You never know. People may have developer points to burn or a particularly good bounceback deal to share.

March is the Turks and Caicos islands in the British West Indies. Total opposite of Disney vacation. Instead of go-go-go it is deposit yourself on the lounge chair and get up a week later. Oddly enough both vacations include a lot of wine.

Osborne Lights rank high up on the light fixture scale, I imagine it will be like a mecca when I finally see them.

I am absolutely devastated about that CoP is not on the map. I know it has weird operating schedules but to get rid of it completely would be horrific. It's so wonderful and makes me feel close to the magic of Walt more so than any other attraction. *Sniff Sniff*
