This trip is getting more and more fun every post... and It's not even real... yet.... well maybe to some people anyway .... (its real to me... I'm really excited )

LADIES, I have to say THANK YOU for making me laugh these last couple of days... I'm so stressed. My Dad is in ICU after carotid surgery yesterday morning and there was some question of whether or not he'd had another heart attack DURING or right AFTER surgery and it's been ruled out, but he has to do another night in ICU to be safe. I've been a crying, praying mess (who's still working, mind you- ARGH! Pooh on our crappy understaffed float pool!) and this thread and you wonderful DIS-ers are wonderful! Such a funny, witty group of ladies you all are...

WOW! You ladies were busy yesterday!! Forgive me for not doing the multi-quote thing for all of the back and forth yesterday but I did read through it and enjoyed it all. 2010 can't come fast enough in my book! I can't wait!!

So sorry about your dad. I'm sending more good thoughts and prayers your way. Glad we could entertain/distract you! And I wholeheartedly agree that I am so glad to have met all of these wonderful DIS'ers... and the idea of meeting some of them in person has me giddy!

No unfortunately did not leave early for WDW. I wish! I just worked A LOT yesterday. I can't DIS from work (blocked! but probably good since I would never actually work if I could DIS!), worked late and by the time I came home I just wanted to get away from a computer and veg on the couch. I don't consider it a hijack at all -- I love the conversation!!

If you have time, definitely check out Illuminations during your trip. I went tonight and they added a section on the end to 'Let There Be Peace on Earth' for the holidays. It was incredible!

We are getting togeher for the TSM Meet! We're going to have dinner before registration, register and hang at HS until the party begins. is what I have to say about this!

It's reached that weird state right before the trip when it seems like it can't be real. Perhaps it's the fact that I plan to go cut down a Christmas tree on Saturday and get it decorated and presents wrapped then pack to go! I have a I hope not crazy plan of doing Christmas cards on the plane.

I just called this week to check all the TS at HS and we had to settle for a reservation for 4 at the Brown Derby. I'm certain we'll be able to find some other DIS friends to join us. If we decide that we don't want to be tied down to that we can cancel and go CS. I might be 2xcited2eat!

I hope so! 'Cause I just checked and all of my days w/ temps in the 80's are gone and my high is 70! But keeping it in perspective, that is still WAY better than Connecticut and it is still Disney!

Oh you're already there! Very cool. Illuminations definitely on my mental list but you're right I don't believe I have it on my official itinerary. I plan to firm up the old itinerary this weekend! Thanks for the tip!! Let me know if you run across any other must do's.
