Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I got back up on my TR's and then you went MIA and then I started my PTR...so I apologize for not keeping up to date but here I am! Loved the ending of your TR, it was a great trip and I'm with you, that time of year is so magical!I really loved my Christmastime trip, too. I didn't realize you were going in September! What are your dates? Great minds think alike!! Thanks again for letting me relive your holiday trip....it was nice to see someone else perspective the same time I was there and without kiddos in tow!!

Thanks for a great trip report! I really enjoyed seeing it through your eyes, since you were travelling alone. You get a different perspective on things, and you have some time to stop and smell the roses! I try to remember to do that, but with a toddler, sometimes it's hard.

And I really enjoyed your pictures. You got photos of some things I missed, and that was quite a treat for me.

I love all your souvies! Especially the Mickey shirt! I could so see myself wearing that. And, although the perfume from Norway is too strong for me to wear (I have sensitive allergies and rarely wear perfume) my mother wears it and it smells beautiful on her! And yes, it totally reminds us of being there! I hope you enjoy your memories from this trip as much as I've enjoyed reading about them.

Hi Kristen! No worries. If your subscription list is anything like mine I know how hard it is to catch up! And sometimes it is fun to wait and have a few updates to catch up on all at once!

My Sept dates are 9/24-10/3. Do we overlap? I forget when your dates are.

I'm sure it's a different perspective as a solo visitor. But I can tell you that parts of me can't wait to visit with kiddos- even with the "hassle" that comes with them.

Thanks! No you aren't imagining it. I do have a room only ressie for Dec with a small deposit on it. With room only you can cancel up to a few weeks out with a full refund. I made the reservation when I thought there would still be Mousefest so I'm kind of waiting to see what is going on that week before I decide whether to keep the reservation. I hope to start the PTR soon!

Aw. I wish they weren't final too. But I will have more thoughts soon... in the form of a PTR. Sometime in the next week, I would think. Although I can't imagine that I have five months worth of material to fill in!

For all of you who liked the Mickey tee, there was another one of the same style with Tinkerbell. Again, I got these at Everything Pop in Pop Century and did not see them anywhere else.

What a great report, Christine! Isn't it great to go solo and go at your own pace?

Loved the pics of Germany - I finally got 4 days to myself before my daughter & grandson arrived (I arrived on 12/13 and she arrived on 12/17/08 and we flew home together on the 20th). I loved being able to just walk at my own leisure & take pics without feeling hurried. I took several of Germany too!

I wish that Tinkerbell t-shirt was available elsewhere. Loved it!

I just heard of friends who traveled several weeks apart and one party left a treat hidden for the second party hidden somewhere in the resort like a scavenger hunt. Isn't that cute? On the one hand, I wish the Tink tshirt was available elsewhere but on the other hand I kind of like that the same things are repeated in every single store. Know what I mean? So, to clarify for the Disney company, for the things I like, I'd like the opportunity to buy it in numerous places and the things I don't not so much.

I am so happy that you have another countdown to look forward to...as you say, only 5 short months to go!!!

While I sincerely hope that one day we will have overlapping trips, unfortunately it is not looking good for me to make it in September. Which is killing me. I had a blast last year at EEC and Food & Wine. I agree with you - it is a great time to be at the Parks.

Plus, I assume from your post that you will be attending Lou Mongello's special evening. Another event I would love to attend.

You will have to do another fabulous TR and of course post back here once you start your PTR! I will need to see exactly what I missed!!!

Some tea for my tea loving cousin and uncle.

I bought the perfume. And I love when I put it on in the morning and think of Epcot!

I also got this jade necklace from China:

Love all your souvies!!! About the tea...I always want to buy some, but don't know which ones I would like. I do enjoy tea, but am kinda picky. I bet the DIS can teach me if I search!

I love your idea about the perfume. I want to buy some at Epcot just because of this. Every morning spraying it and having wonderful trip memories come back, and transporting you to Epcot for a moment.

And WOW, I really love that necklace! BEAUTIFUL! I love jade. My Mom has some jade earrings her first boyfriend gave her and while my parents were married, I always admired them, and she said I could have them when I got older (I was in junior high=not responsible!). Of course they divorced when I was in high school and now she decided to keep her earrings! I am going to ask Joe to buy me something in December! Can I ask how much it cost? If your are more comfy PMing me on that, that's okay - I just want to budget it. I likey lots!


Wonderful final thoughts too. I can't wait to visit in December and see all the lights, decorations and the CP! I also very much look forward to your PTR, it sounds like a really great trip you have in the makings!!
