Has anyone else seen the new Oh Canada film featuring Martin Short? What a great improvement. A must see.!
Now if they would just get rid of those ridiculous Canadian cast member outfits.
How come you didn't go see it? You might have liked it.never went in to the film and likely never will.
I thought it was a great improvement over the other movie. Funny and it keeps your attention, I think it shows our country's cities and wilderness and everything in between.

I like the uniforms, besides what would you replace them with?
I'm not sure, but the current ones are ridiculous... no one in Canada dresses like that. I suppose it's so they fit some sort of stereotype and look distinct, but the fact is, we dress just like Americans. But at least they don't carry around hockey sticks.I like the uniforms, besides what would you replace them with?

We talked to the CM's at teh Canada building and some really like the new film but most wish we still had the old film of teh ones we spoke with anyhow. They say it depicted Canada and it's beauty far better than the new film.
I loved the new film. I like how it depicted not just the east side of Canada, but allowed people to see the Rockies, Calgary, and the Prairies. I think it was very funny and the scenery was fantastic! A huge improvement over the old film. When I talked to the CM's about it, they all loved it! They all agreed that it was way better then the old one....I didn't meet anyone who thought it was worse![]()

They represent the countries history not modern day Canada Germany or the UK etc if they did they would just dress everyone in jeans and t shirts. Where is the National identity in that?
Does anyone know if they sell Canadian Beaver Tails at the kiosk?

Have you seen teh American costumes? They all look like Betsy Ross or George Washington's wife for crying out loud no one in the US dresses like that anymore just like no one dresses like a lumberjack any longer but it is a way of identifying the country and it's cast members.

They commented that if it wasn't for the song and Martin Short it could just as easily be used in the US pavilion or many other areas.
