Hello everyone!
I'm new here (and also new to ANY type of crafting) and have a 'few' questions, shocking right ? lol I recently took up crafting as a hobby... recent as in I just got my Cameo 3 days ago and put the blade in upside down, haha!
My grandson (my only grandchild) turns 1 next month! My daughter and I are going to throw him a Baby Mickey Mouse birthday party in the park, to say we are all super excited is an understatement. I am going to make the invitations, centerpieces, etc ... I've been told I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and never gave it much thought until NOW, good grief! I've had some great ideas but implementing them is a whole 'nuther ball game.
First, I wanted to make a pair of baby blue Mickey pants with a black Mickey head to put in the pants (kinda like a pocket) put the invitation wording on his head, then glue his 1yr old picture on the back. But I just couldn't seem to make the head large enough for the wording but small enough to fit in the pants pocket and have it all be symmetrical So, I had to scrap that idea (even though its my favorite) because the invitations need to be sent out ASAP!
THEN, I decided to make a layered Mickey head with black and baby blue card-stock, put the wording on his head and glue his picture on the back. Again, couldn't seem to make the black and blue heads symmetrical
Here is a link to my photobucket picture that shows a FEW of my different cutouts, in all different sizes and colors.
If anyone has any advice, tips, etc... for me, I would greatly appreciate it!!
Because I'm new and don't have enough points yet... I can't post a link to my picture :/ But I swear I have a butt load of different shapes, sizes, colors, cut outs, etc...! lolz
