OH BOY!!*My 1st PTR for our 1st ever WDW trip JUNE 2011* 6/14: Started my TR.

Soooo I added an ADR for Day 2, MK day... I keep flip flopping on my plans... "Should I do that...or maybe that...or keep just this?" :lmao: I guess I'm officially a DISer!!! :thumbsup2

I decided to make an ADR for Crystal Palace :goodvibes I've been really thinking about that one because we all LOVE the Pooh characters so much! I just wasnt sure about having 2 ADR's in 1 day. We have Chef Mickey's at 7:35am and then Crystal Palace will be at 1:05pm... then QS for dinner. :confused3
I may end up changing my mind back and canceling it but for now its a keeper.... ;)

Hi! Jumping over from my PTR! I'm all caught up on yours! Sounds great so far! Love all the goodies as well that you've gotten! :thumbsup2

You should be fine w/2 ADRs in one day! We had 3 some days last July trip (we were on DxDP). I think you will enjoy CP for lunch! We did!

Cant wait to read more!

I've been on the DDP twice, and both times ended up having an extra QS, TS and snack... due to the fact that your meals are based on the # of nights you stay. We usually arrive on Sunday and leave Saturday (6 nights) but only have 5-day tickets. So this gives us one day that we'll have an extra QS and TS meal. I think it's actually kind of nice to have 2 sit-down meals in one day!

Don't forget you can use QS/TS/Snack credits at your resort, as well as DTD (or other resorts). We usually do a TS dinner on arrival day at DTD and then QS breakfast at the resort to use up the last credits (and grab some candy to take home at Goofy's Candy Co to use up the snack credits). We usually do 5 night stays with 4 day tickets. (But obviously it doesn't work out so well on really late arrivals and really early departures.) :thumbsup2

Or you could always use more than one TS/QS in one day (have a TS breakfast, QS lunch, TS dinner, QS 2nd dinner - because us eaters like 2nd dinner, right? :lmao:) to use them up.

Well, DH wasn't too thrilled about me adding another character meal :lmao:
All he can think is $$$ !!! But I put on my "but this is DISNEY" pouty-face and I win!!! :rotfl: :rolleyes1

I played around with power point today and decided to print my daily schedule's in 5x7 size and then maybe laminate then or find a small 5x7 album. Hmmm. Not sure yet but I'm loving the way it's coming out so far ;) I just want it smaller and easier to pack in the back-pack every day, rather than carrying around my big 3 ring binger that I have for planning right now!

You really are a planner! Everything looks great! :) I have enjoyed looking through your PTR so far, can't wait for more...

Oh wow ... my mind is blank. But you're missing something Mickey in there ... the clubhouse song or the Hot Dog song maybe (I know they aren't as orchestrated as the others above, but still favorites in my mind)? ... What about a Peter Pan or Pooh song? My kids would immediately ask ... What about P&F? They'd want to hear all about the 104 days of summer vacation. :lmao:

Your list is absolutely awesome!! Totally digging it. :thumbsup2

22. You Can Fly / Peter Pan
23. The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers / Winnie The Pooh
24. 104 Days of Summer Vacation / Phineas & Ferb

Keep 'em coming!!!

I found this CD awhile ago and it gave me ideas for trip songs. Just thought I would post the song list...maybe some of them will help out.

Thanks! I have now added from that...

25. Heigh-Ho / Snow White
26. Once Upon a Dream / Sleeping Beauty
27. The Siamese Cat Song / Lady and The Tramp
28. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride / Lilo & Stitch

:cheer2:

oooo, that's a good idea! maybe I'll download some disney songs to add to the ipod. The cd player in our car hasn't worked in about 2 years :headache: so anytime we take a long trip we have to take the ipod and fm transmitter.

Love this song list! I also wanted to say that there are a ton of Disney cd's on Amazon if you need more song lists to choose from.

I had planned on renting a stroller at first but then a friend of mine told me how frustrating it was for her to push the stroller through the crowds and that it was so much faster if you can get the kids to walk. :confused3 I also can't imagine paying that much for the stroller rental... .
We are planning to drive our car to the parks as much as possible, I've heard too many negatives about the bus system now. So it might not be a bad idea to just bring our stroller along if we have the room in the car... Hmmm... ?? :scratchin

I have to agree with the stoller recommendations. My dd was 4 last trip and what we did was make her ride anytime we had a decent walk. i dont think that she would have made it otherwise. She did sleep in it a time or two also. I know Lidian mentioned getting through crowds with them. i also think they add extra crowd security because you won't get seperated from them if they are in a stroller.

Some new purchases...
I'll have to post pics when these come in!

The Disney Store has a sale today, 25% off of their clearance items!! :cool1:
I got this Mickey phone cover:
http://www.disneystore.com/oh-mickey-mickey-mouse-phone-case/mp/1280085/1001142/

and these personalized plushes:

Mickey for DS...it will say "To:Dylan Welcome to Disney World" (in 3 lines)
http://www.disneystore.com/personalized-mickey-mouse-plush-toy-16/mp/1268692/1000267/
Minnie for DD... "To: Mikaela Welcome to Disney World"
http://www.disneystore.com/disney-o...minnie-mouse-plush-toy-16/mp/1268694/1001142/

:cheer2: I'm going to use them as a surprise welcome gift, put them in the room for the kids to find!!!

I got the Mickey and like Brittany mentioned you can only say Disney and not Disney World. But it turned out so cute!

Yep they called today and started saying "I'm calling about the Mickey and Minnie..." I stopped her mid-sentence and said "Yes I had a feeling I might get a call, it's because they say Disney World, right?" :guilty:
So I told her to change it and have them just say "Welcome to Disney!" :thumbsup2

I think your music list is a great idea. You should post it on the June thread too. I bet you would get a lot of input and people will love you idea. Now.. I need a CD too or we need to update the Itouch with a Disney playlist. :)

We will go straight to Africa and get on the Safari first! If there is still EMH time before everything else opens, we might go ahead and do It's Tough to be a Bug & see the 'tree of life'. Excited about the greeting trails :goodvibes and hoping we will get time to see The Festival of The Lion King show!!! Then on to DinoLand for rides and hopefully catch the Nemo musical.
