Was just chatting with my nephew's wife, and there is a chance they'll be able to go with us in December now!! That will be 4 adults but now their 5 kids!!! I'm so excited. I was happy to be going with just my wife, but if they and the kids get to go (14, 10, 8, 6, 2) that will be even better!!!

Since none of them have been there before (the kids that is)...

Just so excited and had to tell somebody, and couldnt think of a better place to do it!!

OK, have a question if anyone is checking this out. my one grand nephew will 3 right about the time we are going. Now, we have 9 of us going, including him. That means the room situation is kinda screwy if I tell the truth. But if he's still 2 at that point ;) that means we can still do 2 rooms at Pop like we want to. But is there a downside to that? I mean can he still ride kids rides and stuff? I dont really want to 'lie' but basically it would cost another whole room, or else someone would have to miss out on extra hours and stuff if we just bought another ticket there.

Any suggestions / problems etc etc? I have no problem buying tickets also, but I just dont see the big problem with an extra 2.99 / 3.01 year old should make you have to get another room.

Maybe, you should consider a rental home off property for all of you to stay in. Renting points from a DVC member may work too. You could also look into the suites at the All Star resorts. Just some things to consider. Staying in a DVC unit or in the All Star Suites would give you the Extra Magic Hours, but renting a home won't. Personally, I'd rather have more space than go to the crowded EMH, if I had to choose. Hopefully, someone who has more experience with these options can provide more info. Whatever you decide, have a great time on your trip.

Very exciting, have fun!!

on the less then 3 year old kids, do they get a ticket also? or do you just 'roll em around'?? lol

Won't they ask for ID at the parks to verify his age?:confused3

We have never had them ask for ID at the parks before. I suppose they could if they wanted to or if the child looked older. My kids and even I look really young so we don't get stop much for things like that. I am 25 but sometimes still get asked if I want a kids meal, I am short too!

I would vote on being honest in regards to teh ticket but i am not sure about the hotel room. I don't see why having a 3 year old should make you have to get a whole other room.

We've already decided if they do go, we'll buy the ticket. You are correct it isnt the ticket that was the problem, it was the room. I guess the only time we might have to try to fudge it would be on the EMH, he might have to be 2 then, as his ticket would'nt be eligible for the EMH since his ticket wouldnt be tied to a resort room.

Sounds good to me! I have tosay I would probably fudge on the EMH too! I hope they are able to go that would be such a fun trip for all of you! We go with our whole family brothers, sisters and their children and it is always a blast!

What kind of ID could they ask for? It's not he has a state picture ID or anything? :D

Like I said above, if this all goes down, we'll get him a ticket, but we arent getting him his own room!!! :D

As long as the little one is 2 the first day of the trip, Disney counts them as 2 the whole trip.
