oh boy..easter zhu zhu's?

So I just called several local Hallmark stores and one finally told me that they don't have the current hamsters but they will be getting in the rabbits, i asked what she was talking about..she said the rabbit zhu zhu for easter..Does anyone else know anything about this? Are there going to be other animals other than the hamster? Oh boy, if there are those of us who are looking better figure out a better way to find all the pieces for this animal world..

I just googled, and it looks like they will make the bunnies. I hope they are cute. They are supposed to hit stores in March

If you go to the Zhu ZHu pet website and watch the sneak peak for next year it looks like there are going to be a ton of different pets...they play the video so fast but I could def. see what looked like chipmunks, hamsters with crazy hair, outfits and many other things! Check it out!

Before I get all crazy on all the other *zhu zhu creatures* I am going to wait and see if my kids are actually going to like/play with the hamsters they get for Xmas. I think the manufacturer ought to do the same.

yeah that's my thought too..i have yet to find a hamster, so i'm hoping they don't release the other animals too soon lol...originally i was going to wait til Easter to give them to the kids, maybe I still will and just give them a whole set with all the animals lol

My dd saw them on a commercial and asked for zhu zhu pets for Christmas. I said, "Maybe the Easter bunny will bring them". She said very matter of factly, "oh, ok." I might skip them altogether, but if dd conyinues to show interest, I may get them for Easter. There should be plenty by then....

My new hallmark was taking a list for those who wanted the bunnies for Easter as they are going to be in short supply again according to them. I was putting my name down when the girl behind me asked how much all this crazy stuff was and she said 39.99 for the hamsters and bunnies. I do not plan on paying $40 for it and do not even know if I will get the bunny but if I need one I am on the list. I was hoping reality would kick in by then and they would feel bad about ripping people off. They are a retail store not ebay and an authorized zhuzhu pet seller. I could not believe it. This was the first time I was ever at this Hallmark so I do not know if they do this a lot.

Has anyone heard any more about these zhu zhu bunnies?
DD got two of the hamsters for Christmas and I think she would love the bunny, too. Just wondering if I should get on the ball now for Easter! Is Hallmark the only store selling them?

I called a few of the Hallmarks in RI and nobody had even heard of these zhu zhu bunnies. They told me to call back in late Feb / early March because that is when they start getting in all their Easter stuff.

I was able to pre-pay and buy two from a local hallmark for my 2 girls. I believe they were $12.99 each. The Hallmark will call me when they get them in and I just show them my receipt and pick them up. I plan on putting them in their Easter baskets...hoping to pick up the babies and outfits for Easter too. They love all the pets and giant hamster city they have now.

The Bunnies are a Hallmark exclusive...I don't believe any of the other new pets are. I'm just glad i'm not going to have to hunt these down come Easter time!

Lucky you on the pre purchase, I just called my local Hallmark and they are expecting Zhu Zhus later this month but don't know what they're getting and won't be doing a pre purchase. Zhu Zhus are a hit at my house ~ even DS has spent time with them, I had him put together the spiral slide ~ I could not figure that one out, he is good at putting things together ~ must be all those Lego sets he has!

IDK, DD has 3 of them, no accessories, and enjoys them. I just don't see what the big deal is though.

Just got my hands on a Zhu Zhu bunny. Hallmark said they are exclusive to them right now. I called one Hallmark that didn't know what I was talking about, but was told all Hallmarks are owned by different people and carry different things so I called the next closest Hallmark to me and they just got a shipment in! Woohoo!

I have a Hallmark holding two for me as well. I was put on their list about 6 weeks ago and they called on Saturday to tell me they came in. Now I just need to get over there!
