Hi all. Just noticed from Monday 8th of August Oga's has changed its opening to 7pm from 10pm :(

I assume this is due to Disney being at non peak hours but is it likely to change back to 10 ?

you mean AM?

DHS opens at 9 AM so I'm sure they would probably not be open before that.

ok it's a Brit thing... so there is no way to know. The times still show HS closing at 9 so there should be reservations available up to 8:30

maybe it's since the park is only open until 9 - but I would think there could be some after 8. No reservations are currently available, but if you click on 7 it says no availability between 4:30 and 8:30, so if they do become available later there might be some after 8. Maybe not, who knows what Disney is thinking these days. With Oga's unless you have a large party you can usually find something the day before, so since they are full now I would try closer to 8/8 and definitely on 8/7 and press 7 as it should show you anything within 2 hours of that.

As for whether or not they will extend the park closing time from 9 - it's possible but you probably won't get any warning if they do.

I noticed that a lot of the table service restaurants in the different parks changed their closing times to 2 or 3 or so hours earlier starting that week. im not sure why. For example, Be our Guest is 5:55 pm instead of 10 pm when park hours are til 10; Sci fi drive in is closing at 7 instead of 9 when park hours are still til 9; space 220 closing at 6:40 instead of 8:40 when park closes at 9 both weeks.

Its all a bit odd really.

I'm going with glitch.....I cant imagine all these places closing 2-3 hours early.

I hope so, i cant imagine it either since it severely limits the amount of time people have to do dinners at ts restaurants. So far CRT and BOG reupdated to "normal" hours on the non halloween party dates but others still show 2-4 hours before closing (skipper canteen, scifi drive in, space 220) i dont see the usually early close time for non park TS reservations so im really hoping its a glich for in park ADRs

They might have an after-hours event going on, so they need the park clear soon after 9 pm.

It's a glitch. All those hours were just listed on the web site incorrectly, and it seems to be a recurring issue of bad data from what I've seen the past few months. Oga's is fixed now, along with the others mentioned above (Skipper Canteen, Sci-Fi, Space 220, etc.)

Oga's reservations for after park close are now available that week. I just snagged 9:30pm on 8/10!

How does this actually work? I see I can grab one for 9:55pm with a 9pm close. So you just hang out or 55 minutes after close then go in?

Basically, yes. People always linger around the parks after closing. You can get in line for an attraction 1 min before closing, and you still get to ride. Transportation is the only question. Skyliner typically stops running 1 hour after park close, but I've heard the buses will keep running beyond that.

And after the Skyliner shuts down, buses to the Skyliner resorts will run. Disney won’t leave their resort guests stranded at a park.
