Oga's Cantina Drink Reviews

Are you allowed to bring drinks with you out of the cantina?

Disney Food Blog just posted a SWGE prep video yesterday and goes into great detail for most the drinks as to what was good and what was a "pass"

I have a 9:05 AM reservation Sept. 2nd. I'm probably just going to get a latte ;-)

My tip for the Fuzzy Tonton is to request a straw. The foam is interesting and unique in respect to the numbing effect but it makes it difficult to taste the drink. So if you get a straw you can still taste the drink and get the numbing effect if you want.

Drinks were super weak, particularly the Bespin Fizz, so I think you'll be fine.

We had 4 alcoholic beverages and the kids had 4 non-alcoholic beverages. We didn't like any of the mixed drinks. Too sweet. Tasted like the big batches of purple stuff that frats would make when I was in college.

Alcoholic beverages:
Bespin Fizz - Too sweet. Not boozy. Not worth the $20.
Jet Juice - A little more boozy, but still too sweet.
T-16 Skyhopper - More interesting consistency, but still too sweet. Not boozy.
Bad Motivator IPA - best of the bunch

I would recommend sticking to beer and wine.

This is the best info yet, with absolutely the correct advise. Stick to beer and wine. It's not just this restaurant...everywhere in Disney is expensive low alcoholic drinks. As mentioned, it's all about the experience. If you want to catch a buzz, buy a bottle of booze and mixers and enjoy on your balcony or in a plastic glass by the pool:).

We were there in the morning and went with more "breakfast" drinks. I ordered the Bloody Rancor which is just a really dark colored Bloody Mary. It was pretty standard and not great or bad and randomly came with a meringue bone. My husband got the Jet Juice which he thought was a whiskey drink but turned out to be an overglorified much too sweet shot.

Does anybody know if you can order one of the ice tea drinks from breakfast menu (eg Tarine, Morgan etc.) for lunch and dinner? We are assuming yes but they are not on lunch or dinner menu). Thx much

Thank you! What was the teal wine like? And how on earth is it teal lol?
Not the poster you were replying to, and many days later, but here is the wine. I can’t really remember other than it was neat looking and not bad. I’d get it again. I also had the Cliff dweller, which I got for the Porg, but ended up surprisingly enjoying. 83ABB742-6B98-402D-B27B-C46559698AE7.jpeg

Based on the vlog that Dis posted yesterday I think it was then I don't think you can. The breakfast menus are only available during breakfast but the lunch & dinner menu is available all day from what they said.

How are the crowds once you're inside? Can we order both drinks at the same time or do we need to order one at a time? I was thinking with the 45 minute time limit, i don't really want to spend a chunk of my time waiting at the bar for a drink.

I've def read people can order both together. With the waiting at the bar though - there is waitress service for all areas apart from the actual areas around the bar as in whereever you get "assigned" you will have service there and don't have to go to the bar to order from everything I've read and seen. You can however be assigned to the bar in which case that would mean ordering at the bar if that makes sense

The 2 drink Max is truly idiotic. Cancelled all my ADR's because of that and after reading this thread it seems like that was a good idea.

Well with 45mins to drink 2 drinks I understand setting a limit. A limit without a time limit would be different.

I'm all for the 45min time limit but 2 drinks is crazy. I would be out of there in 10min only being able to have 2 drinks total.
Well I'm not into gulping my alcoholic beverages, weak or not, so I almost consider 45mins too short but that's me. Just saying I understand having a max drink with a max time limit, totally get it if it just doesn't work for you though :)

Thank you! Thanks for the info on the assignment part too...i thought we were allowed in at our time and we just had to look for a seat or spot to stand.

Do you necessarily need an ADR or can you do walk up and wait?
I have a ressie for WDW, but, not for DL.

Sorry if this has been addressed. Are all the drinks the same cost? Can you guys give me a run down of prices. I don't remember seeing prices on the menu I saw. Thank you
