Oga's Availability

Hey everyone. I have a client with a 10-day trip. Window opened today. They wanted Oga's on the last day of their trip, so we're talking 60+9 here. There's NOTHING available for Oga's even 69 days out. In fact, nothing open the entire week in November. Anybody hear rumors of a refurb (or maybe confirmed refurb that I might have missed?).

I know it's small . I've just never seen zero availability at 69 days out. Usually over 65 days, there's at least SOME availability.

I didn't have any trouble getting it at my 60 + day, which was just this past Tuesday.

OK so that would have been for the end of October right? It seems like the first week of November is the problem. Has anyone been able to get anything for the beginning of November?

Right. It was for October 28th. I see there is no resort availability now for the first week in Nov. Just a busy time, I guess.

I guess. It still seems super weird to me that there would be nothing ALL day 69 days in advance. I checked day 67-70 and there's nothing at all on any of those days. I just find it unlikely that THAT many people have a 10-day trip and booked all of the Oga's slots right at 6am for their 10th day. I guess anything's possible though!

I have never been here and have tried multiple times to get a reservation.
I was able to get one for our September trip. I just kept checking.

My friend is having trouble for last week of October. And when I check the app only Lunch reservations is showing as an option (no times available still). Did FL (or more likely Disney itself) update any covid protocols with regard to dining or bars?

When does the Star Trek (yeah I know wars ) opens for stays? They may be blocking it off for special resort guests. Just a random thought. As you can see I love Star Wars

if you are able to secure a reservation- try showing up 30 minutes before it closed. Thats how we got in.

I found this pretty interesting as well. My upcoming trip is pretty similar to your client's (late October into early November) and I couldn't find any Oga times in November either! I was able to book all of my ADR's except for Oga's. Granted, like others are saying it may be super busy during then, but it's just odd not being able to see ANY Oga availabilities for the month of November.

Pre covid, there would randomly be some restaurants they didn’t release exactly on 60 days. As I recall, some places were released/open for ADRs a day or two late.
keep checking, it may open up yet.

I was looking for early November. The start of the 50th is in October and I had no problems getting Oga's reservations for clients with longer trips even then (provided they were willing to visit Oga's toward the end of their trip). I am typically able to get something at 60+5. 60+7 is a really good chance. 60+9 is almost guaranteed. Like I said, there was nothing. Not one reservation. It was super weird. I was just curious if anybody else was experiencing the same issues.

They haven't announced an official opening date yet, have they? But that's definitely a possibility.

I checked a dining site, and they show no availability for Oga’s for Sept, Oct, or Nov for party sizes of 1-8. That sounds like it could be a glitch, as I’ve never seen complete zero availability when I’ve checked.

That's kind of what I was thinking.
