Oga Cantina at 8:30am?

I don't know why I find this so funny, but I do.
What did you order at 9:35 a.m.?

We JUST (minutes ago) canceled our 9:35 a.m. reservation, because we were able to get a 9:50 p.m. reservation, which works much better with our age 20-something children.
I had the Gold Squadron Lager, my daughter had the Toniray (blue wine). We took in breakfast Ronto Wraps. We were the only ones partaking alcohol at 9:30 in the morning, but this was also our 2nd HS day. We were only there to knock out MMRR and Tower, and we’d already done those. We’d ridden everything else prior.

WE really enjoy Olga cantina, but 8:30 AM IS just too early for alcohol.

Wouldn't your odds of getting a booth be dictated more by the size of your party than anything?

I've had 3 Oga's reservations and 2 of them were at booths. But one was a reservation in June of 2021 for 8 people (they didn't have plexiglass dividers up in the booths at this time) and one was in October 2021 for 5 people (They did have dividers up in the booths at this time).

The third one was also in June 2021, but for 5 people. We were at the bar.
I know this is an old comment but thought I would give my experience.

We went to Oga's but in DL and in September 2019 so pre-pandemic. In this case we were sat down but we were a party of two. We were basically fillers for seats, I was on a stool my husband was in the booth part. We were sat down with 1 other party (I can't remember if there was 2 total other parties or just 1) but in either case it was clear we were just used to fill up the space.

I am only speaking aloud but I figure your party size may on any given day affect where you are placed but not necessarily the way people think. It may be easier for them to fill in the spots with a smaller party and have the larger parties first on standing tables depending on the time of reservation and the number of people on existing reservations at the same time as yours. At the same time it seems to be quite random at times too given other people's experiences so who knows.

Regardless I wouldn't anticipate that your booth is just your booth or your standing table is your standing table. When they were social distancing this would have been the case but only due to covid not because that was the normal way they did the seating. Without social distancing I'm guessing they seat you with strangers if they want to.

Been 3 times (2 times too many for me) and had a booth all 3 times. Group of 6 each time (slightly different mix of people, hence the 3 trips), got a booth each time. Actually, the same booth every time! Went around 4pm, did not have to share the booth with other parties.
