Oga’s Cantina ADR and virtual queue

We’re going to WDW in January around marathon weekend. I’m guessing the virtual queue will still be active for GE. I have an ADR for Oga’s Cantina at 2:00 one of the days. How does that work with the virtual queue? if I end up with a boarding group to GE that doesn’t line up with the reservation, what happens? Thanks!

The queue is only for RotR. You can enter GE at anytime.

With a VQ, you have two hours from when your boarding group is called (check the app or the signs around the park) to enter the standby. So if your Oga's is at 2 and your boarding group is called at say 1:30. Then you could hit Oga's first and should be able to get to Rise before 3:30 (you only have 45 min in Oga's).

It can get tricky if your boarding group is called around 2 hours before your reservation. Waits I don't think have been bad when the ride is operating fully but you can wait up to 2 hours or longer if things go wrong or so many people from the boarding group(s) arrives simultaneously.
