Hi all. Staying offsite this May for a trip. I have 2 simple questions;

1) Epcot - can I use a Disney gift card at the festival booths for food and drinks? I know in the past, some booths were privatized and did not take Disney GC.

2). Re; Genie + / just so I'm clear on offsite use. At 7am, I can book one Genie +. When is the next one - park opening or 2 hrs after park opening? Purchasing a $LL, I need to wait until park opening to do it? Am I correct in my thinking?

Thank you all.

1. I believe parking is free for a period of time around your reservation (maybe 2 or 3 hrs?). You would have to move your car to the TTC after and take the monorail or boat to MK. I suggest getting an Uber/Lyft to CR for your meal and then walking to MK after. You'll save time that way.

2. I've used GC in the past at festival booths without a problem.

3. Genie+ is 7am. ILL is 7am for onsite guests, park opening for offsite guests. I'm pretty sure you can book another 2hrs after the park opens or you tap through both touch points, whichever comes first.

Last time I was at a ADR at the Contemporary, we spent over 6 hours traveling the monorail around and explored all the resorts (Christmas decorations). Does anyone know if they are keeping track of parking at the resorts for an ADR? Last time, we showed the ADR number to the gate guard and he told us where to park...no slip to put in the car, no keeping track of license plate. I dont want to go to the trouble of and loss of time to move the car (if not needed).
Thx.

The prevailing thought is that Contemporary parking is not to be used as theme park parking. Could you? Possibly. Possibly not. But I don’t think it’s very fair to those who’ve paid to stay there.

I'm well aware of that - thank you. That was never the intent. The ADR was the intent, and depending upon if MK was sold out or not, if we wanted another day at MK, etc...lots of factors. I was just gathering information. For me to have to drive out, drive back into the main parking lots, ride tram, ride monorail...not sure I want to put that much time in it. May just ride monorail and visit all the monorail resorts again instead of park entrance.

Parking at a resort for an ADR is only for the time you are at your ADR and visiting the resort facilities. After that time your vehicle must be used.
