If you are driving and don't mind travelling a little further afield, I can highly recommend 4Rivers Smokehouse.

Some of our other favourites from previous trips are:

Manny's - fabulous steaks and gorgeous fresh yeast rolls

Friendly's - Great shakes (yum - Fribble shake) and ice cream but also cheap and cheerful

Keke's - Amazing breakfasts!

Longhorn Steakhouse - A little bit pricier than your standard chain but great quality and lovely steaks

Texas Roadhouse - Another great place for steaks. Loaded baked potato is delicious!

Teak Neighborhood Grill - Great burgers (including the Krispy Kreme burger!)

Brickhouse Tavern and Tap - Huge meatballs and giant mozzarella sticks

Seasons 52, we absolutely love it, good service, great food, last time they also had these little desserts and they were sort of just 1/2 mouthfuls but you could order lots of different ones. Really loved that idea!

The Cheesecake Factory. I have never even got to eat any cheesecake as always far to full from just a starter! The onion rings are MASSIVE, don't order a portion each whatever you do!! Great food great prices.:)

Our favourites are Longhorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse and Cheesecake Factory!

We also like Chillis :)

We absolutely love Longhorn Steakhouse, better than Outback, and Logan's hasn't been good the past few years.

Longhornes, Cheesecake Factory, Lonestar and Toojays ( for breakfast or lunch). We too have never eaten a cheesecake at CF as always too full. I always take half my dinner home as portions so big. My husband said last year the best steak he had was at CF which is surprising.

Hear alot about CF, what do they do as guessing the non cheesecake stuff must be great!

They have a huge and varied menu, from burgers and sandwiches to salads, pasta and even some oriental dishes.

Their portions are massive and the cheesecake is to die for.

I had the starter of Avacado Eggrolls because I saw somebody else with them and asked what they were. It was HUGE and I really couldn't eat anything else. Can't remember what I had the time before that other then it was from the light snack menu with a side of onion rings. Again, I was stuffed. This time (in November) I am ONLY going to order cheesecake but will start looking at the menu soon as too much choice. :)
