I know, I know! This is a question that will have been asked 1000 times over but i'm going to ask again!! We have visited Orlando many times and are looking for some different dinner options. We have done the usual Sizzler, Ponderosa, Chillis, TGIs, Dennys over and over again and are looking for some different suggestions. We will definately revisiting Logan's roadhouse and Outback again, any other suggetions? We love steak and Mexican if that helps any? Thanks in advance. x

Definitely TooJays. We only discovered it last August which was our 9th trip and we went there about 10 times. It in Dr Phillips Bv which isn't that far away, although I think there are others. It's nothing fancy but food was great and staff fantastic. Great breakfast, my son and I use to share and husband would have eggs and something. Great sandwiches and lunch and tradional dinners. Excellent value, great cakes and also a deli so lots of meats, bagels ext to take away.

We also love Longhornes, which again only discovered on last trip. 2 course meal for 2 for $30 but was enough for 3. My son had a choice of any restaurant for his birthday including any Disney one and he chose to go back here.

Love Cheesecake factory.
Lonestar has been a favourite for a long time.

Our favourite on our last trip was the new Texas Roadhouse on the 192 - by far and away the best meal of the trip.

Friendlys is still a firm favourite of ours, as well as Bob Evans.

The best breakfast we had was Keke's Breakfast Cafe, it was absolutely amazing! A bit out of the way but well worth the drive. There is one near Mall at Millenia so, if you're planning a shopping trip, it would be worth heading up early and having breakfast. Guaranteed you won't need to eat again till lunch.

I haven't got around to posting my trip report from that day of our holiday yet so here are some sneak-peek photos from Keke's...

OMG, I am drooling just thinking about it.

Miller's Ale House. It is a small chain and there are several around Orlando. One is near the DtD entrance to WDW and there is one on Irlo Bronsonin Kissimmee.

Always thought the Orlando Alehouse look pretty grim but was on a work stopover last May with a couple of friends and we were staying on Palm Parkway so decided to walk over there for a drink.

Ended up eating there and have to say it was great! Good vibe in the place and we had a right good old night.

Will probably drop in there with the family this August :-)

Big portions of good value food, daily specials plus cheap drink specials if not driving(I usually am)
57 locations but we usually use LBV or Hunters Creek.
They are sports bars so walls are covered with tvs showing sport.
Last time I ordered a pint(Fosters $2) it took about 5-6 mins to arrive so they brought me another free for taking so long.

Blinkin heck Joh, now im starving!!!

Great suggestions everyone, just what i was after!1 Keep them coming!! :goodvibes

Padrinos bistro (Cuban) comes very highly recommended by a colleague of mine so we'll try that one too. Have to say we have always had excellent meals at the Olive Garden too x

Thanks to Wayne i'm now dribbling at the thought of a BBQ pulled chicken basket with double fries at Bubbalous... :rotfl2:

The tastiest pulled pork sandwich I have ever had was at Bubbalous. First visit I had the 3 meat sampler for lunch, couldn't eat rest of the day, totally stuffed.:goodvibes
Its nothing fancy but we really like the food.

Have to agree with Orlando Ale House. Really good food, inexpensive and just fun! We discovered it on our last trip and will definitely be going back. Also have to do Red Lobster every trip although each location varies in terms of quality IMO! We like one on Irlo Bronson in particular.
We've always had a good breakfast from Perkins on the corner of I4 opposite that huge McDonalds!

..... looks like bubbalous will be added to our 'to do' list this year! yummmm
