Wondering if anyone knows of good offsite restaurants for kids in Orlando.

I'm looking for restaurants that are like Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. I'll check out the "Dinner Theatre" ones (pirates, dolly parton, etc.), but am wondering if there is a place to go for basic, good food at a reasonable price that is different than a place you'd find at home. Maybe a restaurant that has a theme or special things for kids to do.

Maybe there isn't one, but if I had a restaurant in Orlando I'd cater to families with kids on a budget. Thanks for any ideas!

Jungle Jim's is pretty good. Kind of a safari theme, the food is pretty good and not too expensive. You can usually get a coupon for free appetizers from their website.

We also like Steak & Shake because we don't have them around here. Kind of like an old fifties burger joint. Excellent burgers and milk shakes!

I don't know how common they are throughout the rest of the US, but we really like Johnny Rockets which is at Pointe Orlando - it's a very traditional 50's diner style with jukeboxes on the table
