Hello. For all of you who have rented a golf cart from an offsite company, would you mind walking me through the actual pick-up and drop-off? If you don't want to post here, then a PM would be great.

I'm one of those "detail" people and I want to understand what to expect. The where, when and how. Because the supplemental lot is no longer accessible from the road, I'm confused as to how this is all done. I know it's not illegal to bring in an outside cart, but I'm wondering how much Disney helps or hinders the process.

Thanks in advance for your helpl :goodvibes

My experience was with Kenny at Tee Time.

He gets your cell number and is in touch with you to get your ETA as you're coming in. He then tries to arrange meeting you either at the overflow or, in our case, right at your campsite. We drove him back to the overflow in his cart and that was it. On checkout day he came for the cart early in the a.m. (we arranged this) and that was it. It was seemless.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I rented from Kenny 3 time last year. He is the best. All 3 times we worked out different arrangements so It all depends on when you plan on getting to the Fort. One time we got in our site early and went over to MK for a bit. I got a call from Kenny and when we got back our cart was at the site. He will work it out with you a day or two in advance.

Thank guys. We're going for 8 days and we want a cart this time. Kenny saves so much over Disney rental for us. Now I feel confident that it will work out.

I rented two carts from Kenny, he called the day before and said he would call the next morning with the details. He called back just as we were backing into our site and told us where both carts were and how to identify them. I just walked over to the outpost and picked them up.

On the way out I left them by the store.
