Can I order magic bands for my offsite stay ahead of time, or do I have to purchase them at the park? I don't want to spend time activating at the parks.

I thought MB were only if you stayed onsite?

Up to this date, I've only read about MBs being available at select WDW locations for $12.95 + tax for off-site guests. Your info is on your MDE computer file and the MB is just a receiver, same as an RFID ticket. You really don't need to buy a MB except the convenience factor of carrying your info on a wristband instead of the RFID card. A Disney CM will have to make the connection between your tickets and the MB (see link below).

I'm staying off site we are going to collect our pre purchased tickets from guest relations at DTD. The shop at DQ sells the bands and will link them for you if you want them to, then you are all set
