I know that onsite there is the Beach Club, the Poly, the Contemporary.... and also offsite I think Lowes Royal Pacific has one, but are there any other offsite hotels that have a nice sandy play area for kids ?

depends - most of Florida is sandy.

so do you want the nice white sand that Disney uses - or will darker sand also work?

Sorry, should have been more specific. I meant Orlando area hotels that are fairly close to the Disney parks. Any kind of sand (white/dark) is okay.

I am aware that there are many beaches a few hours driving distance from Orlando, but I was looking for something at the hotel. Doesn't have to be huge, just a play area. Thanks

grand beach - timeshares - has 3 -bedroom

orange beach - another timeshare.
