Offsite first night??

even if you could, please do not make a delivery driver drop off food at the airport. That’s one of the worst things I could ever imagine doing to a delivery driver.

Drivers can choose jobs so if they don’t want them they don’t take them. There are worse things you can do to a delivery driver like putting an explosive around their neck and asking for ransom

???????

Obviously I wasn't talking about kidnapping and illegal stuff. Of course attempting to MURDER your driver is worse. My god, how weird.

And to answer the first part of your statement: Services like Door Dash, Postmates, etc. are notoriously bad for both restaurants AND drivers and prey on the desperation of both to steal money (from the former) and pay meager wages (to the latter). To simply say "they could not accept the job" is to minimize the inherent issues that exist with these services and shift blame away from the real problem.

Definitely do the MCO airport hotel. Not sure what day you are arriving, but you can get Sunday 7-25 or Saturday 7-24 in a suite for total 415.00- 2 adults-3 children. Has 2 queen and a sleeper sofa. We have done this before and it's great. Collect your luggage and in minutes you are in your room. Most food court restaurants are open until 10pm and open again early in the morning for breakfast. You can get an early start with Magic Express and head to hotel , store the luggage and off to the parks.

Does the hyatt not have their own dining area/restaurant?

They do, but a bit pricey.

regarding Hyatt, interesting:

The first Hyatt House opened in 1954 by entrepreneurs Hyatt Robert von Dehn and Jack Dyer Crouch as a motel near Los Angeles International Airport.[10] In 1957, the hotel was purchased by entrepreneur Jay Pritzker for $2.2 million. His younger brother, Donald Pritzker, also took on an important role in the company. Considering the growing use of air travel for business, the Pritzker brothers realized that locating a high quality hotel near a major airport was a valuable business strategy. Within two years, they opened Hyatt House motels near San Francisco International Airport and Seattle–Tacoma International Airport.[11]

We stayed at the Delta Orlando Lake Buena Vista and the Uber to the parks (AK, Epcot, DHS) all ranged from $30-65 for a family of 4 each way. Next time, I think I'd pay a little more to stay on a Disney property.

The Lynx bus stop is right in front of the Delta LBV. $2 or $16 for an unlimited week pass.

That's where I get dropped off in I want to get something from Wawa or McDonald's.
