Offsite ECV Rental Recommendation

Just booked an ECV for hubby through Yellow Scooters and thought I'd give them a plug on here as I've never seen them mentioned. www.yellowscooters.com They seemed to have the greatest variety available for someone who is larger-sized (300lbs), but needs something that can fit in a minivan. I spoke to a very helpful lady named Lynn and she was able to recommend the best scooter for our needs (heavy weight + will run all day + no separate wheelchair platform). It's not advertised on the site, but she was able to swap the standard low-back seat for a captain's chair style, which will greatly help w/DH's back issues. Yellow Scooters is the only company I've come across that rents scooters w/a captain's chair! They also have tons of add-ons available (cup holders, large rear basket, rear cooler, oxygen holders, cane holder, etc). And they're prices are GREAT! I've spent days checking each scooter company in Orlando and was so pleased to have found them, that I had to share!

I've rented from Yellow Scooters as well; their shop is about a mile down the road from my house. I didn't need any special equipment (no captain's chair or oxygen holder or extra large basket, etc.). They were very accommodating about my pick-up and return times (outside of their normal working hours) and they made sure DD#1 and I were confident with assembly and disassembly procedures. I'm not particularly strong, but if push came to shove, I could disassemble and/or assemble the scooter myself and put it in/take it out of the trunk of my car by myself. I was very pleased with their service and prices and will use them again as needs warrant.
