Offside Free Parking Or Cheaper Parking??

Plus, unlike Disney where you just flash your AP and they let you drive thru, Universal swipes the AP to apply/register the parking and they also check your ID on occasion. much more difficult to game the system.

When I was down last week however, they only asked to see my ID once out of the 3 days I went by the Universal resort. So you never know if they are going to want it or not.

If anyone used 1 AP to park 4 cars they will get busted anyway.. they do swipe your pass... and they will know you just came through those booths and you will get denied entry. They will ask to see your parking ticket they just gave you.. and if you don't have it, because it is in the window of the other car.. b-u-s-t-e-d! and yep.. cheating the system...and you can get your AP taken away from you.. to me, that is not worth the freaking $15, 30, 45 or $60 I would be saving... no way

Well after doing all the math, the annual pass made no sense at all. I called up universal and asked what tickets would cost being an annual pass holder. According to her you do get 15% off tickets, that is standard gate tickets 1 day 1 park. So the halloween horror pass frequent scare tickets, the 2 day base tickets etc, no discount. In fact it was substantially cheaper to go to undercover tourist site and just by one of there packs of tickets and pay for parking 3 times @ $45 bucks. Total buying my tickets was 400 bucks and then parking will be 445 total. Had I gotten the universal premier pass and picked up tickets for everything total would be $559! Its unreal how they gouge consumers. The rep over the phone said they made changes not that along ago so the annual pass holders wouldn't get a discount off all tickets, which is how the market it in there site.

I find UT to be cheaper, too, but I don't think anyone is gouging in any case. Theme park tickets are expensive, that's all there is to it.

Actually you do get a discount with your AP for Frequent Fear and also 2 day tickets. I'm sorry you were given the wrong information.

If you have about 4 vehicles going, can you park 1 using your AP, then one of the cars sits down at guest drop off, the person that parks meets them there after parking, and then does it again with the same ap in car #2? We wouldnt do it for all cars.

We were at Universal two weeks ago and got 15% off the multi day tickets with our annual pass.

Someone told you the wrong information. Maybe call again and speak to someone else? The perks are listed right on the webpage where you purchase APs and they would have to honor them. And don't forget, you save 10% on food and merchandise in the parks as well.

HHN discounts are the main reason I keep my Preferred AP. There is no need to spend the extra money for the Premier unless you're a local and go a lot.

General public Frequent Fear Pass and general admission prices are: $81.99 plus tax.

Passholder discounted tickets (Frequent Fear Pass) are: $66.99 plus tax.

Premier passholders receive one free non-peak ticket to HHN and both Premier and Preferred passholders can purchase up to six additional HHN tickets at the AP discount.

Plus...you don't have to spend the $15.00 for parking in the garage.

This question has been asked and answered. You can use guest drop off or stay at a hotel that offers free shuttle service. Trying to find ways to avoid parking is not something that we should be answering anyway. Thread closed.
