Hi MomMom Sorry I never made it back! The Dis was crawling for me!

What is Monkey Mix???? I used to make a cake called Monkey Balls, it was like a cinnamon bun cake made up of a bunch of little one inch balls of dough in an angel food pan and then pour the sweet, cinnamon, brown sugar and stuff over it to make it stick together as a cake. It was so good, you could just pull one off at a time to eat it as opposed to slices.

My Mom used to make Monkey Bread when I was younger, I loved it!!!! Monkey Crunch is really good and super easy Here is the recipe:

9 cups Chex® cereal (any variety)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Preparation Directions:
1. Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
2. In 1-quart microwavable bowl, stir together chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
3. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.

It's only 6 degrees here right now so that's hindering me going outside...

That's too cold. I remember when we lived in IN and the days when (with the wind chill) it was -35. You couldn't pay me to go out in that.

I know! I am seriously considering not going. I just texted my friends to see if any of them are attempting it. I am so sick of winter here! I swear I have spent more time in my house than I would like to even think about.

It aint here today. The high is gonna be in the low 40s & then with the wind blowing like crazy it's gonna feel like the 30s.

Not doing much today. I got some laundry I need to do and do alittle spot cleaning around the house. Just can't seem to get moving yet.

I know what you mean, getting moving is my biggest issue. Once I'm going it's great but getting there is the issue!

I got my FIOS today and am loving it!!!!!!!


Internet is lightning fast and loving all my new channels.

I now have unlimited free long distance too on my phone and have my caller ID back.....WOOHOO



The only problem I have encountred s o far is my multi room DVR is not working.

You are supposed to be able to record whatver you want on the MULTI ROOM DVR box and watch them on either ds tv or our bedroom tv.

That is not working

So, am on hold at the moment
