***Officially Official September 2017 Thread***

So I decided to move my flight out to Saturday afternoon. I'm losing a night at MK and my morning at Disney Springs... so I think I'll live. Since it's planning on hitting Florida Saturday night/Sunday morning want to get out before it starts getting messy.

But this trip is AMAZING so far! The Poly is a dream. Making sure I hit Trader Sam's every night! Food and Wine is incredible. And I still got a night at AKL coming up... not to mention the thing I've been waiting for over a year for... Pandora!!

Where do you find that? I'd like to check it out so I can keep track. Thanks.
There are many sites to look at for Tropical Weather. I look at a few. Wunderground (https://www.wunderground.com/hurricane ) is probably one of the easiest sites to see info, maps , and predictions. Hoping these two will weaken, and spare us all! Above all, praying for everyone in their paths, and their property. But, also for our Magical vacations that we all work so hard for to enjoy!

Thanks for the review @QueenTM12 I just had a look at doing the dessert party for one of my MK nights and currently not available but I shall bare that in mind about the crowds and see what happens, its just me trying to fit into the crowd so it's not as bad as trying to get the family in.

Oooh what are your thoughts on Trader Sam's was it easy to get into? I saw when it was opened it was bad. I'm planning to go one evening after a visiting the character warehouse and I-drive 360 during the day.

Glad you had a great time.

We are scheduled to depart on the 16th and we are still planning to go. Hoping the storm changes it's mind and steers clear of Florida. Sending prayers and well wishes for all in Florida!

TS is one of my absolute favorite places on property. I go at least once every trip. I've never had a problem getting in. For a small place it fits a decent amount of people.

Our trip starts on the 20th. we aren't too worried about Irma but worried about the aftermath. We were affected by Harvey and Houston is not 100% 2 weeks later.

Looks like a lot of people are rescheduling, it's going to be packed the next couple of weeks.

We will be there 17-21 if Irma hits sun/Monday, we are hoping things will be good by the following week. It may be putting our head in the sand but we shall watch and wait, there is still so much uncertainty with it still.
We are there the same days, and plan to continue to wait and see. It looks hopeful, but we are prepared to reschedule if necessary. I'm keeping the faith!:littleangel:

We cancelled this morning, still heartbroken about it. Was supposed to arrive tomorrow. I thought coming home from Disney was bad, try canceling the day before. Sad and have cried all day. They didn't have any FD dates available to rebook us. So if we rebook it will be without that, and that hurts as we will have to shorten the trip to offset food costs. Unpacking the luggage was horrible, and cancelling those hard to get ADRs and FPs. Sigh.

Ugh I'm so sorry.

 So sorry. I can't imagine. You have to rebook- it will make you feel better

As of now we are still going. Driving from St Louis we will alter the route a bit. We should get to Florida on Tuesday so hopefully Irma will have pushed out to sea. I did cancel our hotel room between Atlanta and Florida I couldn't bare to think I would be taking a room away from and evacuee, instead we will stay with a family friend in Pensacola until the storm clears out. I feel like I am becoming a junior meteorologist with the amount of hurricane stalking I've been doing. Good luck to all who are trying to make it in right after.

So I called JetBlue today to switch to a 6 PM flight because their awful website said it was the only one left. The employee on the other end of the line could have just given me that flight, but for no reason (I didn't mention that I had looked for earlier flights) she told me there was a 3:45 flight available. I thought oh cool it's a direct one I'll take it.

MCO just announced all flights scheduled past 5 on Saturday are canceled.

The Tiki gods are real, September peeps. Ya just gotta pray early and often.
