TOMORROW!!!!!! :cool1::cool1:

If Irma keeps up its nonsense I think I'm gonna switch my flight to leave early Sunday morning instead of Sunday afternoon just to be sure I avoid the mess. A little inconvenient but I don't have much planned for Sunday anyways (no park tickets, no dining reservations).

But we'll think about that later. Because for now my mind is full of The Polynesian, Food and Wine, Pandora, and Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!!

Well, kids, I just saw an update on Irma. They've adjusted the track further south. That's not good. They're saying if it hasn't turned north by Saturday morning Florida's probably in for a rough time. I'm really, really hoping for anybody who's going to be there Sunday and early next week this thing makes a hard right turn. I'm thinking of y'all. Here's some pixie dust hoping for this thing to turn north. pixiedust:

Yeah it's starting to look rough. I'm probably gonna fly out early Sunday to avoid the mess. I guess I'll have to live without ever seeing Disney Springs!

Today we went clothes shopping but I did not get anything. I know that my wife and daughter did not get enough and I am sure they will be going again before we pack. I did manage to get my hair cut!

I hope Irma turns for everyone's sake.

All right! Ugh! I would love to find a group to share the Memory Maker with. My neighbor did one for us years ago, which was soo helpful! I just can't convince my hubby to pay an extra $200 when our trip was close to $9000. This trip will be one of the last trips we do with our entire family. We have 10 kiddos and the more I read, the more I know it is worth getting. My daddy was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and ended up passing away a couple months ago. My sisters and I took care of him for those months. I've been so busy tending to my daddy and then mourning that I just didn't let my mind dwell on anything Disney. I am so late in the game, but don't want to miss out on having these photos from our trip. We leave Wednesday the 6th! So excited!!! But would LOVE to get this taken care of.

So sorry for your loss!

We only got the MM once. Didn't enjoy spending so much time getting pics. At that time though, it didn't include all the ride photos and such. Seemed like all we did was look for Photo CMs to make it worth the money. But I guess there's a lot more included to make it a bit more worth it. I hope someone comes along to split with you. You need a little pixie dust in your life!! Good luck!

Just started again at 10 a day, thats what people are getting.

Wait, what? I've been going to Disney for years and never heard this! What do you do, call before you go or just tell them once you get there? Do they bring fresh towels though? Please enlighten me!!

I am getting ready to cancel a BOG reservation for 2 for September 24th at 11:40. I hate to, but I just couldn't make it work. Hope someone can use it! I'll wait until tomorrow morning to cancel to give someone a chance to see this. Hope everyone had a great labor day weekend!!

I asked at Poly this week and they are not offering this.

Fairly new to Disboards, but I've been planning my September vacation since like April or May.

13 days from now, my Brother (26) and I are taking my mother to Disney World for 12 nights, followed by two nights at Universal, so we're in Orlando for the whole later half of September, including my 24th Birthday!

We upgraded free dining to include table service, are doing a Halloween party with coordinating (jungle cruise lost safari themed) costumes, and I've planned a Star Wars dessert party as a surprise for my mother and a Wild Africa trek as a surprise for my brother, so it should be quite the trip!

I've been spending the last week shopping with my mother in order to get her enough clothes to go on vacation. So I still need to get a haircut for the first time in probably 2 years, as well as get my nails done, and then we should be all set to go.

Also, good luck to all of you facing the likelihood of Irma! With a bit of luck and a sprinkle of pixie dust, it'll blow out to sea before it impacts your trips.

We're supposed to land Saturday at 3:05 pm. I hope we can still land just fine. We're there for 14 nights so if I lose a park day - it'll be fine, but I know if I had a shorter trip planned I'd be worried.

That aside, this could be a devastating storm for so many people. I really hope the storm turns north ASAP and avoids landfall as much as possible.

After many years of September trips, I have to say this is our last. I'm sticking with march/April. This is the second year in a row on hurricane watch, and unless it stalls it shouldn't affect us too much, but now there's a tropical storm behind it too. I was there through Charlie in 2004, so I know what to expect even if there during a direct hit, but still isn't fun. Really feeling the stress for those going this weekend. :sad2:
