@disneydarling07

I see that you arrive a day after I do. Have you posted your itinerary yet? Just wondering if we're going to be at the same place sometime during our stays.

Here is our schedule:

9/4 - Arrive at Poly, Blizzard Beach, Hollywood Studios (Sci Fi Diner)
9/5 - Epcot, Food and Wine Festival
9/6 - Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Kingdom
9/7 - Magic Kingdom (MNSSHP)
9/8 - Hollywood Studios, relax at resort
9/9 - Magic Kingdom
9/10 - Disney Springs - depart WDW :( Our flight isn't until 9:30PM so we have most of the day there.

We are not doing TS this trip. Quick service is the plan. I've researched menus at all the parks and lands, so we pretty much know where we are going.
All FP's are booked. Managed to get everything we wanted. I had to change up days to make it work, but it was no big deal. This will be the first time we are venturing out to the water parks. Many trips to WDW and we have never been to either one. So hopefully we can get those off the bucket list. I'm working on scavenger hunts for each park and the resort.

THAT IS AWESOME!!! On another note,..I started organizing my Disney scrap stuff last night....yes, I have a problem...this is ONLY the 3D stickers.View attachment 256199

You inspired me to take a look at my stash, I have been collecting the Disney stuff since 2011 and still haven't made the album for any Disney trip. I have a Castle scrapbook album somewhere, probably somewhere in with the rest of my craft stuff.

OMG! I dont feel so alone now! LOL! It's quite the addiction!
Tonight I will be trying to sort thru the flat stickers. And the paper will have to wait till the weekend...I need space...lol!
I get excited to scrap Disney, so I pretty much work on them right away. The problem is that i take too many pictures and have too much scrap stuff to work with. Each trip usually takes up to 5-6 12x12 albums. I need a separate room just for the albums. I'm determined to chip away at this stash though. I figured if I knew what i have, I would make sure I take the right pictures so I can use this stuff....before they start putting out more! But more stuff just means more trips to Disney right??

Never enough space. I think its because I got stickers in advance of future trips and wanted to do this trip to see what I would use up sticker wise. I could only get them through one special website in the UK or eBay, I did order direct from EK Success but I had to send it to my friend in the US and pick it up when I visited because they don't ship Disney brand outside the US. I picked up a scrapbook set in Disneyland too.

I'm going to do one big 12x12 for my first trips to Disneyland, WDW and probably my old Disneyland Paris trips as we don't have load of photos for that and then this trip may go in a smaller one, not sure yet.

Haha yes, I bought a Halloween sticker so I thought, I have to go during the Halloween celebrations now. I'm guilty of taking too many photos, I had 2000 to go through when I got home. :lmao: I don't delete the bad ones though (never want to risk corrupting the memory card, my sister deleted pics on her camera once during her photography course and we had to download software to recover her project and she never got it all back). This time though I'm going to put the bulk of my photos in a photobook - I know how to use a programme that people use to create magazines and there's a printers in my town that will do it a fancy finish for me (wish I could add Disney characters in it though), maybe a select few in a Disney album like I did last trip and then scrapbook characters and highlights in the trip.

I had fun at the waterparks, I loved the theming at TL and Crush n Gusher. BB is great too and I loved the Toboggan Racers and Snow Stormers slides. Scavenger hunt sounds fun.

So. Jealous. I have an ABUNDANCE of scrap stuff, worked at Michaels for 10 years on the floor and was also the scrapbooking instructor. However, I don't have much Disney stuff. As I mentioned before, we haven't been in 20 years. I'm a little scared for when I get ready to do the pics from this trip!! There was a scrapbook expo here in town last weekend and a good friend asked me to go, as they would have all kinds of great Disney stuff. I held back and didn't even go, want to save the $$$ for now for the actual vacay!

OK, this is to all the scrapbookers out there. I passed along your kind words to the manager of my department (who also happens to be the VP of the company, who also happens to be the founder's daughter). She absolutely lit up like a Christmas tree! She wanted me to thank you for your patronage and kind words, she wishes she could give you all a hug :grouphug: (she'd do it, too - I got one, I can pass it along to you if you'd like LOL), and hopes we all have magical vacations.
So there you go, from the VP of Hobby Lobby, a very sincere thank you. Here's hoping we all have magical vacations! pixiedust:

That's just so cool. Thanks for sharing!!!

Done! I got everything I wanted at the exact time I wanted except for FoP. I was able to get one on the day I wanted, just a couple of hours later than I wanted. But, hey, I got it!

All set!! 60 days, ba-by!! :dancer:
Can I que an "I told you so...." :) Super glad you had success.

Here's my plan so far (yay for PH!)

8/31: Arrival/Resort time/DS (Homecomin' dinner)
9/1: MK & MNSSHP
9/2: AK in am, MK in pm ('Ohana dinner)
9/3: CRT breakfast and MK in am, AK in pm
9/4: DHS with a break for Ample Hills and some F&W
9/5: Epcot for F&W with late flight out that night

We have an overlap day at Epcot!
See you @ MK on the 3rd!

There was a big one in London thats held in April and September. I missed April and the September one is the weekend I fly out. It's for the best this year, need to save money for Disney too. I did go to a local one at the end of April but I was pretty good budget wise, it did help it was missing half the stalls and it was so quiet compared to last time though.

You'll have a lot more pictures this time! I have some non Disney stuff that I'm using with my ideas. I may even draw out, use layers of card for characters as well. I saw the Circut Disney cartridges they are just a little pricey somethimes so I make my own version.

Also Tim Holtz has a halloween embelishment, a metal strip set of phrases and one of them says "foolish mortals" 100% mine even if I have to ship it to the hotel. Hello HM page! If I can get it sooner I wanted to fix up some halloween ears but maybe I can make it a necklace if I don't have time.

Scrap Your Trip has tons of Disney stuff, although they are kinda pricey.

I'm proud of myself for restraining from going. I know I just would have bought tons of Disney stuff, then would have to make sure I took pictures to work with it all! This way I'll have my pictures and know what to buy from there. Hopefully I can just use my Cricut for most of it. I know I'll have tons of pics...I take a lot, and we're doing Memory Maker, too.

Love the idea of a necklace with the embellishment! :)

I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the tip!

There is an expo coming here in August. I haven't been to one in years! So my dilemma is, either go see what they have or save the money for the trip. Trip is paid off soooo...

I take tons of pictures too and we do the memory maker. I'm debating whether to do a photo scavenger hunt also. I've seen the "find this" hunts but someone mentioned an Disney ABC photo hunt. This way you get lots more pictures and see the different ways everyone interprets each letter.
