Officially booked on Celebrity Edge 2/16/20

Went ahead and had my TA book it today! Last night I chatted with the owner of the travel agency I use and asked her what she would recommend - Disney World/Disney Dream or Celebrity Edge and she said "I love Disney, and I know you love Disney, but hands down Edge. She's a beautiful and unique ship, it's 7 days, and you can take advantage of the single stateroom with infinite verandah which is really unique!" Plus (she didn't say this part), the 7-night cruise with 2 perks and prepaid gratuities is way less than the land/sea thing would have been.

AND I booked a day at Maya Chan for Costa Maya day!!!

Very cool! I haven't sailed Celebrity yet but would like to in the future. You've sailed Celebrity in the past right? From your personal experience what are your thoughts on the cruise line as a whole?

We will be on the Edge for their Transatlantic from Rome to Fort Lauderdale! We got the infinity verandah room with free gratuities, free drink package and free internet! We have only been on Celebrity Summit before, but loved it and feel Celebrity is a step above RCCL/DCL.

I have not yet. I have been booked on them but always cancelled and switched to Disney. But I am committed to seeing this one through!! Will report back!!

Our cruise isn’t until 10/30/20, after yours. We are sailing with friends who have already been on it once and decided to rebook. They LOVED it.
