After months of following these boards, learning tips, carefully planning our days and narrowing down all the delectable dining choices, I'm finally just a few days away from booking my ADRs. Except now, I'm reading and realizing there is a good chance chance that even with getting up before the birds, I likely wont get the ADRs I have so carefully planned. :headache: So let me just say now, if any of you have scored primo ADRs for the week of Sept 29-Oct 5, contact me before you cancel any of 'em!! Here's hoping...

I'm getting ready to book ADRs for those exact same dates! But, the ones on my list are not the hardest ones to get so I am hoping that it won't be too difficult. Where are you hoping to boo?

I am going the same dates. Where are you guys trying to get ADR for?

I am trying for:

9/29 1900 Park Faire dinner 5:45ish
9/30 HDDR 7:15
10/1- Via Naplia Early lunch 11:45ish
10/2- Boma Dinner 6:30
10/3 or 10/4 Kona Breakfast mid morning

We have never been to Disney. I hope it is a good mix of fun, yummy places.

haha I'm 'wife to Rob' too. And should things go well, said Rob, myself, DD4 & twin DD2 along with Rob's parents will be dining at;

O'hana (dinner)
Le Cellier (in laws, dinner)
Cali Grill (Rob & I)
BBB/CRT (everyone)
Akershus (everyone)
Sanaa (everyone)

And should it be open it time, Be Our Guest.

You?

I don't have my "notes" in front of me right now to give specifics and, quite honestly, I am still fine tuning the whole thing. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around making these plans so far in advance.

Anyway, we are looking at...

Chef Mickey's (dinner)
Tusker House
Teppon Edo (dinner)
still can't decide between Sci-Fi and 50's (thinking the kids will get a kick out of sci-fi but the reviews are not all that great)
Whispering Canyon
And there's one more but I can't seem to remember it right now

Trying to choose things that will appeal to all 4 of us and trying to pick things that will work well for my 8 year old son. He'll be on the kids dining plan but he's a big eater so I am trying to pick places that I think will get him a good enough meal :)

My travel agent will make my ADRs for me (if I can ever make up my mind) so I will probably let her go ahead and take care of it.

Keep us posted on how you do with your bookings.

do you know that you can pay to upgrade your 8 yr old to an adult? I'm assuming you're on free dining since you're there the same dates as me. So then you would just pay the nominal difference in park ticket cost and he would then have the same meal entitlements as you.

Will you be trying for Le Cellier first? I was able to get dinner there on our last trip but never had before. It is so hard to get it for some dates. Anyway, that was on the top of my list and then I tried for the other restaurants. Good luck. You may not get everything you want, but be flexible and have back up plans and you will still have a great time.

I just made reservations this past Wed. for our stay 24-29 for a party of 8 for each meal. The only one I had trouble with was CRT - wanted dinner on our 2nd night. I ended up opting for dinner on our last night (I could have had lunch the 2nd day but we are set on wanting dinner).
I also booked Akershus for a lunch; Tusker HOuse a breakfast and Hollywood & Vine a breakfast with no problem - got within 15 minutes of the times I was shooting for.

Good luck!

I think you should be fine. From my experience the tough ones were
Ohana( dinner ), Le Cellier lunch, Rose and Crown around Illumination time, CP breakfast before park opens. I heard Chef mickeys can be tough too
