.... now eldest turns 18 Where did my tiny baby go? Topping 6' with full driving licence and passport I'm going to have to put Kicky back into onesies to make up for it (Do they do them in age 13-14? That's what he's wearing)
I know the feeling Mazda... PJ turns 18 the end of October... Where did the time go? It sure does fly fast...
The two boys are gonna have to stop growing up for a while.. Although I have told PJ we are getting an air matress for college because with only boys at home, I may need a vacation and time away!
I feel for you Mazda. My DS turned 18 last November and I'm still getting used to it. The reality really set in with me when he signed his own parent consent form at school one day. Since he was 18, he didn't need me to sign it. I miss my little boy, but he sure is a fine young man!
Thanks all! We're currently looking at the last few universities as his form has to be in by the end of next month. I can see I'm going to need to brush up his cooking skills! Luckily I made him a scrapbook with all our favourite recipes.....
Good luck on the university front!!! PJ got her Acceptance letter to her first choice on 9/12!!!
I filled out one of my list parental consent forms for PJ's upcoming trip... it asked for her age... I went ahead and put 18 because at the time of the trip she will be... now, I need to get her a copy of her insurance card and explain how it works....
Mazda, I feel for you. My DS turned 18 in August and left for college at the end of the month. It happened so fast. Julia is fretting because now all my attention is focused on her. She loves spending time with me but doesn't like all the focus on her. We are both adjusting...
