Thank you so much for the info! I booked for May 22nd- our first night on our first Disney Trip. Hoping my 1.5 yr old can make it- or fall asleep in the stroller- Assuming we are allowed to bring strollers in......

we were not permitted to bring our stroller in last summer... but i'm sure if there was a sleeping baby in it, they would make an exception... there is plenty of room!

Is this really worth it? It would be close to $90 for the three of us to eat dessert and watch fireworks?

Would it be crazy to bring my 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old to this?

Not at all! My kids loved it last time. I don't think I would have even thought to do this except that I had small kids. That's what was so great! They had a great view and a chair to sit in and tons of yummy desserts. Not to mention you can exit pretty quickly afterwards :)

Just booked for May 17  CM was great. Can't wait, tried to get a reservation last September but no luck.

I just tried to book for July, but the system is open past May. The CM was really nice and suggested I call back in a few days or by the end of next week.

I'm super excited to try this!!!

Anxiously awaiting for the June dates to open up! I didnt see the prior posts for June and called. Only taking the reservations through may 31st. UGH! :confused3

just to be clear, you will be (from your party seats) to hear spectro and see little parts of it, but I wouldn't say it like you will see the parade in any way like you would if you were on the street curb.

sorry to clarify- i meant i wasn't impressed that we had gotten there with loads of time then these horrible older people came and squashed my kiddos so they couldnt even see the parade. so of course we had to fight them for room for the fireworks as well. i just think it will be nice to see them without too much crowding.

as for spectro- been there done it, kids wont mind if we skip that to get desserts! lol

IT'S BACK!!!!!!!!
my inside info was correct... Wishes Dessert Party would return in march... according to the DIS it will return 3/28! :)

Oh man does that stink! We really wanted to do this for our DD turning 11 here at WDW, but alas we leave in morning...
:headache:

Oh wow, this is great news. My DH and I had the oppurtunity to go to one in December. We loved it and would love to go again. Has anyone heard how long the parties will last? We will be there again in May and in November.

Question .......... has anyone been twice in their one stay at WDW??? :rotfl2: I am such a dessert girl but it would be naught to go twice (as well as expensive)

personally, i think it's a fabulous way to end the night, any night, even most nights... so i would go twice in one trip if time and finances permitted... keep in mind, it's cheaper than dinner ;)

thanks for the advice on the stroller/bringing little kids! I thought DH would freak when he came home from work and I told him I booked ANOTHER disney dining reservation (he is really getting annoyed with me changing reservations every other day)- but he is actually excited to go.

I am booked for May 11th!!! The CM I spoke too was impressed that I knew about it and said I must have heard it through the grapevine. I told her, "They don't call me a Disney freak for nothing". :rotfl:

Thanks DIS :disrocks:
