Last year we were able to purchase commemorative items after registration was done...do you think we can do that again this year? I got all flustered and non-comital AHAHAH but now I want moreeeeeeeeeeee

If you log into your active account & click on view your events there is an option to purchase additional merchandise

This was the most stressful thing EVER! I signed myself up, got loopy-headed and accidentally exited before signing up my DS!! OMG, I was in tears! Kept hitting the refresh button for 10 solid minutes and boom! The 10k came off of hold! Grabbed it and now we are both in! Whew...that was awful, LOL!

I'm in for the challenge and my mom's in for the 10K with me! Woohoo! I hated watching that little running man in the queue! It was definitely less stressful than last week but I heard everything was on hold pretty quickly.

Me and DD are in for the 5K. And I'm doing the 10K. I signed up last night to run for Noah's Light Foundation. So excited to be running for a charity this year!

Almost the same as us! Me and DS9 got in for the Holiday 5K, DS6 got in for the Kids' 1-Miler, and I registered for the 10K through the CAL Foundation. Phew! That was stressful.

Does it seem like they are doing this a bit different now? With the dark side challenge I went right into the purchase screen, but it seems like this time, they filtered everyone through the little green man?

Yeah, I've never seen the queue screen before. It looked super fake to me - not at all like what the other Active.com screens look like - so for a second I was just like, "...do I have a virus? Is someone playing a prank on me??"

Maybe the queue option kicks in when there are a TON of people trying to get on the site at the same time?

I did the same, but @Ariel484 guided me to just go back into your active.com account and choose your events. It will then give you the option to purchase merchandise.
I did not yet get an emailed receipt? Not sure if this is usual or if I messed something up???

Looks like the 'On Hold' does not mean sold out (for now anyway) - people on Facebook are refreshing and still getting in after a bit of perseverance.

ON HOLD means that the queue is full, and that if everyone who is in the queue completes their registration, the race is full.

So some people must have multiple screens open and then close them once they are registered, or they get to the end and change their minds...who knows.

OH NO, I definitely got my Congratulations email, just not the one for the merchandise...most likely just a delay.

Got in for the half. My friend had to refresh a ton of times for "on hold" but got in for the half as well. I wasn't going to do it because of the change to the morning race, but she really wanted to do Wine and Dine for the first time, so I decided to join her
