Official Wine and Dine 2016 thread

Ok, stupid question... any advantage to either DVC or AP registration over the other, if you are both? I just assume they come out of the same pool
From what I have heard, you're right that they come out of the same pool. I think I'd open both and just go with whichever one posts the links first (because the Active.com links will be the same).
Honestly, I would go for it. If it is legit, do it. If need be, and they cancel the registration, you can get him reinstated by runDisney later. Our kids aren't AP holders and we were able to register them with early registration. Same household.
Okay, thanks for this - and you marked them as not being AP holders, right?

I know it's "legal" and it should be okay...freaking runDisney registration days!! They always freak me out!

Question on registering since this will be our first event. I want to register myself and my fiancé. Can I do both at the same time or do I have to do them separately? We are both DVC and AP. Does it ask for verification somehow or just to register through a link? TIA

Separately. You'll each need your own Active.com account.

There will be "are you an AP" and "are you a DVC member"-type questions...I'm not sure if they use these for research purposes or just to weed out people that shouldn't be registering early. :confused3

I have both AP and DVC too. I'll have both pages open and just use whichever comes up first.

As for the AP reg for your husband. I'm not sure. Are you doing any other registrations. If it were me, I might do my own today with the AP and do the non AP next week. That would seem less stressful.

Yes...challenge and 5K for me, 10K for him. I'm leaning toward just doing mine today and his next week...I know I am WAY over-thinking this.

OK, thanks. I had her register on Active.com last night and I am already registered. Hopefully this goes smoothly.

My guess is that today the challenge will sell out first, followed by the 10K. I don't think it will take long. Princess sold out the early reg challenge in something like 12 minutes.

I agree...especially since the challenge takes up so many of the 10K spots, those will be the first to go.

My guess would be...

Challenge or 10K first
Kids Races (those seem to be filling quickly lately)
5K
Half

Ugh, just signed into MDE and Passholder page is not loading on Chrome or IE. Both were working about an hour ago. I've always used Chrome in the past and it was more reliable for rD registration for me. I'm echoing @Ariel484's sentiment that this is officially driving me crazy. Here's hoping they load up in the next hour...good grief.

Okay folks... The Annual Passholder page on MDE is a dog. Here's what you do... go into privacy or incognito mode (depending on your browser) and the page should load, even with some formatting irregularities it should all be there. Navigate to the annual passholder page at runDisney, then copy and paste that URL into a regular (not private) window and you're good to go.

That must be why it works for me. I'm on Chrome in incognito mode.

Here's a question: Are tickets to just the after party also going on sale today, or does that start next week? I don't see it on the passholder page.

Yep, that worked! Thanks for saving the last shred of my sanity today! :)

If anyone can help........I know each adult needs a separate active.com account. But, if my 8yo daughter and I are running together, does she need an account? or can I register her under mine??
Thank you

I guess next week if it's not on the page. Normally those don't go anywhere near as quickly as the race registrations do.

How do you put chrome on privacy mode? I can't get it to work on Chrome or IE either. I am on my computer laptop.

You can register her under yours. When you log in there will either be an option to register yourself or someone under the age of 18. :)
