I wish they would pick another weekend going forward to avoid "jersey week". Nothing against people from New Jersey, I grew up right next door....just to smooth out the crowds. i guess it lines up well for training for Marathon weekend and September would be pretty hot but a week later might be nice in the lull before Thanksgiving week.

Princess weekend always falls during the time period that New England school kids are on February break. There's always a school system out there that will clash no matter what weekend they use for races. Marathon weekend starts the same day my kids go back to school from Christmas break. I'm sure there are many parents that will just wait to send kids back until after MW.

I’ve got Pop booked for W&D 2022. I’ve got an airline credit I need to use by June, and my AP will be good thru the end of November, so it seems like it’s meant to be. Also, villains are awesome, so why should I resist?

Any speculation on themes? Chef Mickey was around for many years, and the last two years (2020 virtual and 2021 in-person) have been Wickedly Delicious villain themed. My guess is that rD keeps the villain theme for a few more years.

If they keep with villians, I think Mother Gothel, Scar, and maybe something a little less known, like the villian from Stitch, would be fun.

Imagine a Scar medal with the hyenas in the background! They could work in the food theme with antelope bones or something.

I’m curious if they will keep the villain theme as well though I’d also love themeing toward Epcot’s 40th ….
