Is anyone else having problems getting Super Smash Bros Brawl to play online either with "anyone" or with "registered friends"? DH and I have been trying to get on, but keeps disconnecting us and not being able to join other rooms created by other players.
As you all may know by now it should runnign pretty flawlessly. The problem was the massive influx of gamers that flooded the servers upon getting the game....many people jumping right to the online before playing any of the other parts of the game. This basically overloaded the servers and slowed them to a crawl.
Sort of off topic but in that vein:
Anyone know for sure if it will work on an 80GB, PS2 compatible (via software, not Emotion engine) compatible PS3?
I'm thinking of picking it up for the kids, but really don't want to have to drag out my old PS2.
Nope...emulation sucks! Sony should have just left the ps2 chipset in the system. it honestly didn't add that much to the cost.
By far the Wii is the best at backward playability...the 360 has so many unplayable games and even the ones that are playabale(fable) glitch badly constently. This should be a lesson to the companies that emulation is a bad thing!
Devil May Cry info anyone? I know its not Wii but played it via a different system.
Again as the wife said we answered this quest a long time ago..but It really depends on what DMc your talking about....honestly afeter the first one it lost alot of flair for me. I just didn't care anymore. If you tell me which version I can give you better info.
Hi guys,
Tonite I just bought the original Sonic the Hedgehog using Wii Points. Downloaded with no problems, but the game doesn't display properly on the screen. Have any of you had problems like this? We have a 50" plasma, and I'm wondering if that is the problem? The screen will scroll (I'll see the graphics), and then will just go black - all the while, you can still hear the music and I can hear Sonic jump when I hit the Jump button.
Any ideas on things I could try? DH has the Wii connected through a component cable to our Receiver.
Thanks all!!
As with all things..call Nintendo! Honestly it sounds like a bad download or bad emulation. My guess is Nintendo will tell you to delete the game and re-download(this will not cost you more as on the wii if you downloaded and paid for it once you don't have to pay again). But call Nintendo.....my only other idea is that if you have the wii set to widescreen mode it may mess up the onlder games..you made need to go back to 4:3 ratio. Again best suggestion is call Nintendo!
DS says you can only do "matches" online...I think he was hoping they could do adventure mode or one of the other mode type things together online but they can only do matches.
He was able to play with a friend, the screen loaded slowly and froze here and there but basically worked ok. Everytime he tries the "connect with a random person" choice it kicks him out though. He was able to play with a friend using the friend's code.
Match are the "normal Play" as I put it..brawl has always been a fighting game. The adventure mode is brand new and really an ADD-ON to the game. Classic mode and brawl mode are the traditional game.
As for the online problems....see my above statements.
Hoping somebody can offer some advice here. My daughter hasn't played her wii for a while (a broken foot is not compatible with the wii) Anyway, she got it out tonight and one of the wiimotes won't work
None of the lights turn on at all. I went out and bought brand new batteries and still nothing. We tried pushing the sync button but it seems as if there is no power to the wiimote at all.
Any thoughts on what to do? Although I bought the wii last July, she has only had it open since Christmas.
Honestly I have never run across this problem so I can't answer it...again My best suggestion is to call Nintendo. They are great at problem solveing...and are super nice. I don't even have a suggestion to try(doesn't happen very often)...just call Nintendo!
