Is the Toys R US deal "buy Super Mario Galaxy, get another Wii game for 50% off" a good one or am I likely to find something better?

We just got our hands on a Wii and I've purchased the second remote with Wiiplay and the nunchuck.

Yes, it's a great deal as long as there is a second game in stock that you want.

I got a wii for my 13 yo DD for Christmas. In addition to the console I got an extra remote and nunchuck. I also got Wii Play so we have a third remote.

She has had a gamecube for several years now and really liked Zelda Windwaker, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart and Pacman Fever.
For Wii games I got her Zelda, Sims Castaway, Madden 08 (really for DH), Big Brain Academy, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast and Mario Party 8. I plan on getting the remote charger next time I go shopping. Anything else I should get. Good choice of games for a 13 yo? I bought the games before Super Mario Galaxy came out and wonder if I should exchange one of the other games for this as she really liked Mario Sunshine. Any thoughts?

Is this a sale at Toys R Us now I looked online but didn't see it thought maybe it was part of the 2 day sale this weekend? Or wasn't sure if you had a coupon.

OMG - someone just paid $335 for a Wii Play on ebay. I'm sure they were probably thinking that they were getting a system. Poor thing is really going to be upset when they get that little box in the mail!

I would definitely get her Galaxy. I would exchange Donkey Kong for sure. It's an okay game, but no where near as good as Galaxy. Otherwise you look totally set!

I am almost positive the sale is good through Saturday at the stores, but it is not available online. I should have paid more attention to the ad.

I saw on Attack of the Show last night that there are rip off Wiis out there. One is the Chintendo Vii. It's a crappy chinese made version of the Wii. And I guess there is something called the Woo too. lol You can't get them in a store in the states, but i bet they are all over ebay.

I feel so bad for them but this wasn't even a case of the seller being shady with their description or photo. I just think that the bidder(s) didn't pay attention to what they were bidding on. I'm sure that seller is doing this right now but I'm sure they have some headaches coming there way!

Nothing about the Chinese surprises me! When I was there in 2003, you could buy practically anything with a designer label. My DH has an "Omega" watch that not even Bailey Banks & Biddle will change the battery in because they think it is real! They keep telling him that it has to be sent out. He keeps asking me "are you sure you only paid $4 for this?"

I haven't seen any deals lately. And the TRU buy 1 get 1 free sale won't come around again for a while. I'll keep my eyes open for ya.
