Any idea how busy the park will be on Sunday?

I thought I saw 7 for Saturday and Sunday was around a 5, so it shouldn't be that bad. In my opinion, I think they should just close DL for the day so we can hobble around and play w/o a lot of people there.

Does anyone else feel the NEED to have a perfectly clean, spotless house before a trip??? I do

I do too! It's just easier when you come home too. The night before is usually making sure everything is clean and vacuuming.


So checked the weather again this morning. When they announced this race last April, I was worried, but w/ La Nina this year, it'll almost be as warm as the race in Sept.

Heck no! What would DP do while I was away, if I cleaned it all before I left? Although he isn't allowed to clean the kitchen, so I do have to make sure that is in order tonight.

I have a question for you. Did you get a discount w/ your premier pass for the hotels for Marathon Weekend? I was thinking about upgrading b/c I going out there for the races next year and was wondering how the discounts were.

Well, Ladies and Gents: I've worked so very hard but I've managed to get you guys GORGEOUS weather this weekend. It's 82 degrees right now (but don't forget we're running in the morning when it's still a bit cool).

Also, even though the index says 5, I doubt it will be that because of the nice weather.

I'm putting on my "Minnie" dots on my red running skirt tonight. I'm also switching up to yellow laces (I didn't have time to buy and break in yellow shoes). I can't find my Minnie ears, but I sure I can find one someplace in the park in Saturday.. I hope.... (keeping fingers crossed) LOL

Ok, now I'm just getting silly from excitement.

Anyone have any advice where to eat outside the parks with lean food? I would like to eat somewhere on Sat before the race with some low-fat/lean options, but don't want to spend an arm & a leg!

We do this, but this time I'm leaving DH + 2DDs at home so no advance cleaning needed. They'll just trash it anyways.

My DL pre-race ritual is to go to ESPN Zone. I get their grilled chicken sandwich and a baked potato. I think it's $15 or so. And their salads are good also.

I had to book through GET Travel, since I sat on my duff too long and the regular registration filled. I'm not sure if there is an increased discount on lodging with the premier pass or not. It would be nice though.....

My suitcases are packed. My work day has already started, so I am counting down until lunch (when I'm leaving). I did however realize as I pulled into the parking lot at work, that I left my camera at home. DOH!

Well, all packed and checked in for tomorrow morning. Now on to waiting for the next 4 hours to slowly tick away. Did my nails last night, I have to clean them up around the edges, but they came out awesome! The pinkie nail on came out looking more like a flower than a pixie wand though.

They look great! I did mine on Sunday and now have to redo them tonight because I trashed them during the week. Now I remember why I usually only paint my toes!
