Especially since we are on the Dream cruise following this one and got the same cabin number assigned for both! A little nervous about a hot tub being above the room but room reports say its not so bad. We moved from a 7 night Fantasy cruise in a 6a to the two Dream 7a GTy cruises to save money and now we save money and got a better room!

Very happy moved from deck 2 to deck 8 and got a sideways stateroom close to the elevators! Being in the middle of the ship and having close access to everything is a definite plus

After looking around it turns out we did get an upgrade. Cat 8d, what I was hoping for!!!! I think my DD will love sitting on the seat and watching the water go by!

Don't mean to sound ungrateful, I knew there was a chance of no upgrade, but first Disney Cruise and with grandkids so was hoping for some Pixie dust. No matter what we will have a blast I am sure.

Glad to see some of the Galveston cruises start to show up. We also booked the 9D deal for 3 cabins. But we are in early November. I have only had 11s and 10s so even the 9 I will be happy with!

If I had it to do over again? I'd do it again, but wish I had understood it all before I did! I might would have booked a differing level or should have asked more questions. But I'm tickled to death to get a large porthole!!

What about adding the question of how far in advance did you book your cruise? It might give us an idea of whether or not Disney gave upgrades based on the order that people booked. For instance, those that booked last would get the category they booked (if any staterooms were left that had not been booked directly by number) and then Disney would work backwards towards those that booked first-giving out the next available category. Just a thought.
