I cannot believe Courtney and Danielle didnt jump ship and join La Mina right away. Shane was so mean to them and I cant believe they have stuck with their tribe.
I dont know if its the editing or what but since the merge I havent seen Shane having a big freak out like he did before. He must know he would be out if he did.
I do want Terry to win and I like Sallie as well. Cerie is okay but she is just flying under the radar and I really like to see someone win who puts a big effort into it.

I was so mad last night that Terry did not give the idol to Austin - but then DH put it to me in a different way.

Terry is very smart to keep it for himself - as long as he keeps winning immunity he is safe, but the first time he loses - he is still safe and then he can start a big tiff amongst the 6 that are against him because then they have to vote one of their own off and that will start wars!

The 6 are at the verge of having a break down I think and Terry just may be the one to start it.

And I cannot believe that Danielle did not jump ship - I guess her and Austin did not bond that well on Excile Island. I was waiting for another Rob and Amber!

I agree, I can't believe Danielle didn't jump ship either. And if the girls do have a secret alliance, I wish they would've joined with Terry, Austin, and Sally to get rid of that horrible Shane. Ugh.

My guess is the girls are together because they can't stand Shane either. I'm loving this!! Not that I don't like Terry but I hate when one person wants to call all the shots, this time it's not working too well for him.

I think it will be extremely difficult for Casaya to vote for Terry now that they know he has the immunity idol.

To get rid of him, Casaya will have to vote him out twice. And, the first time they vote for him, it’s like playing Russian Roulette because one of them will have the 2nd most votes. So if you’re in the Casaya alliance, a vote for Terry could be like voting for yourself!

When does the immunity idol “expire”? I assume Terry cannot use the idol if he gets to the final two!

See I see this as something different. Right now the break down is 2 versus 6 right. Sally and Terry will vote together lets say for Shane. If the others are smart they will split their vote between Terry and Sally meaning 3 votes Terry, 3 votes Sally and 2 votes Shane. This is of course assuming neither terry or sally won immunity. In my scenario none of the main tribe would go home. Terry and Sally would play some tie breaker and if Sally loses she goes home. If Terry loses he pulls the idol and Sally goes home. They would still hold the tie breaker because if Terry beats Sally then he wouldn't have to waste the idol just yet.

When I saw that happen my reaction was immediately- "Yep... I'll go to Exile Island with a former Hanes underwear model ANY day of the week. And so what if it rains, it's a perfect excuse to snuggle!"

DH just looked at me... and then I reminded him he gets to watch all these babes in bikinis every week. His response, "Yeah, but they voted out some of the prettiest ones!" Life's not fair, huh sweetheart?

Yeah I think she is pulling her weight too. I just meant under the radar as in no one really considers her threat.



For the immunity I remember something about using it to and through the final 4. I kind of got the impression you could use it more than once but I might be mistaken. I didnt want Austin to go either but the point of the game is to win and Terry needs to keep it for himself if he plans on winning.

Honestly, as stupid and dysfunctional as they come across, they are incredibly manipulative. I think Aras is the brains behind the braun. I think once he's gone, it's going to fall to hell. I think they they get rid of Shane (I hate him as much as I hated Johnny Fairplay...ok, maybe a smidgen less), they are going to bond together. I really, really think he is the problem and the reason for all the drama.

As for Cirie, I think she pulls her weight at camp, I just don't think she's playing the "Outwit" or "Outplay" part of the game. She's playing it was safe. For me, I like to see the people that really worked the system take the final two seats.

As for the immunity idol, unless Danielle mentions it to the rest of the tribe, there's no way they will know to split the votes. I thought about this on the drive home and realized that she may be keeping that as an ace in HER pocket. Now that she knows, she might be able to manipulate Casaya OR La Mina to her advantage. She can just about insure herself final spots on either side depending on if she chooses to flop or chooses to let them in on the idol if Terry will trust her again.

Bruce and Danielle sticking true meant that it weakened La Mina to the point that they cannot come back in and take the final three. I have no doubt that had they gotten Bruce and Danielle to the final five, they would have voted them off five and four; Sally would have been three; and Terry and Austin would have been up for the money. Now, if they do flop, they've got it 2 v 2 in the final four.

I am fairly certain:

-You use it once and then it gets reburied from what someone on this board had said.


My impression:

-You can use it until the final 4. Can't use it in the final 3 becuase the one holding immunity at that point is choosing who they go to the final 2 with. If one has the immunity neckalace, one has the idol, it leaves one to go no votes needed... and the neckalace holder isn't doing the picking in that scenario. So, you can use it to get yourself into the final 3.

I hope Terry can convince the Casaya tribe that any of them would have a better chance of winning the million if they were up against him instead of one of their own since the jury will consist mainly of Casayas. You never know if that would hold true but at least it might help get him to the final 2! He is awesome!!!

I'm betting that Bruce has a kidney stone- something about how he was hunched over and saying 'oh no' reminded me of the times I have had an attack. Not good and it would make sense that they have to medivac him out for that. It's excruciating....he probably got dehydrated. Just my .02.

Another gal here for Terry. I want final two to be Cirie and Terry- she is the only Casaya I find enjoyable.

Another vote for Terry! I think they said at the beginning that it would secure a place in the final 3, which would mean that you could use it over again. He wouldn't want to give that up!!!

What show was Shane on? They should have gotten rid of him when they had the chance!!! Yuk!

Cerie is the only one on that tribe that is deserving--she was targeted from the beginning ad has lasted til now. So, I think she and Terry would be good for the final 2 (most deserving), but she won't be able to win immunity, which I think she will need to make it that far.

My thoughts for the night

Anyone who thinks they stand a chance against Terry in the final two is an idiot. If any of them actually pass up any opportunity to vote Terry out they deserve to lose.

I think Terry should be voted out. He failed to achieve the most important aspect of surviving Survivor: Building a STRONG alliance. If Terry wins he wins based on his physical dominance only, and that's pretty boring.

I can't say that I'm really FOR anyone, but I do hope Shane gets out soon. However, he did provide some good laughs last night with his own "medical" problem!

I could be wrong, but I thought Terry did build an alliance at the beginning (Him, the astronaut, Austin and that other guy). The problem was his team kept losing immunity challenges, so his alliance had to be voted off.

I will be so irritated if Shane or Courtney wins. Actually I'm starting to dislike Danielle as well.
