i'm ready for this run. Today was my birthday and allowed myself a small cupcake. of course if the weather is going to be cold, maybe i should plan for a little more insulaton and just eat a couple more of the cup cakes.

I'm in Tampa, about an hour away from Disney World.... I will warn it has been VERY gusty winds and especially at night, and during the day too... So if you haven't packed yet be sure everyone does pack a sweater.... I usually just wear fit-flops and tank-tops 24/7 in cheer-leading shorts... I've been living in a windbreak outfit the past few days, lol! So not just for the race but for the fam thats packing too.... Its supposed to warm up, but at night it gets colder in Orlando then here in Tampa so just to be safe then sorry!

Wow! Either everyone is already on the way to WDW, already there or packing to go...this thread hasn't been this quite for a few days.

Laundry is done, making cookies for my college-age Thursday night group we (Dh and I) host. Making some other food for DH and DS while I'm gone. DD should be on her way from from college soon and then we will fly out in the morning.

I'm still here! Not leaving until Saturday morning. Taking care of last minute shopping, planning outfits (had last minute changes because of the cooler weather forecast), cleaning the fish tank, cleaning the car... All those last minute little things.

Nooooo!

I am not feeling well today either...bad sinus pain in my face. Even with zyrtec, sudafed, and neti pot, my face is still throbbing. I think it's partly due to the low humidity.

My friend flew down today. She said there's a brush fire in the area and it's causing smokey air. I hope it dissipates before Sunday!

The fire is a controled burn, it will be all over by sunday.
The smell is only reaching WDW because of the strong wind.
I have just got home from Epcot and there was no smell at all.

Layers, layers, layers for Sunday morning!! Lots of ice on my car this morning. I was hoping for 80 degrees on Sunday but thats not going to happen.

It was very smokey in my area yesterday afternoon but no smoke smell today at all.

Hi,
I don't post much but love reading about what everybody is doing, I did the princess marathon last year and had a blast! I registered for this year but just found out that I cant go due to the person that was going to watch my 3 kids cannot make it!!!
So now I cant make it I know that I am out of the money I spent at the registration but do you guys know of any way that at least I could get the goodie bag and shirt? Does disney help you with any of that? How would I go about doing that? I am so sad to not make this event and at the last minute. I always love reading and know that you wish guys are all knowing about this stuff and hope to meet you at a future event (the princess last year was my first event ever and I really loved it) Thanks so much for any info/help you can give me.
