I thought I would change the topic to an official discussion about ghosts and things. I now know alot of us are interested in the paranormal. So lets share ghost stories, pictures, anything. Also discuss the Ghost Hunters T.V. Show!





I love watching TAPS and I go to the message board alot too. I do believe in ghosts as I have had experiences with my dad since he has died.

Anyway I thought this was the neatest picture on the message board.

This is a picture of Beauvoir, Jefferson Davis's home in Biloxi. This is after Katrina and even though heavily damaged it will be restored. Look in the far left window and you will see what looks like a Civil War era women with a bonnet and hoop skirt and next to her a Civil War era man. I think it is so neat,

Is Beauvoir said to be haunted? If it is true that ghosts manifest more when their surroundings are changed, I can only imagine how upset any ghost would be at Beauvoir nowadays! The poor house really got slammed.

I've been watching TAPS Ghost Hunters show regularly and I really like the group. Manifestation-wise, they've had kind of a slow year so far though which is to be expected I suppose.

Heres a short clip on Beauvoir,

Confederate President Jefferson Davis' historic Haunted Gulf Coast home "Beauvoir," is said to be a spirit haven. The President and his late wife Varna Davis are still making appearances - in many tourist vacation photos.

If you look up pictures of Varna and then look at the above picture its kind of spooky.

I am looking so forward to the Taps episode this Wednesday. The team is going to California to both The Winchester Mystery House and The Queen Mary.

Oh wow I see the person above her head too. Thats weird. I showed my mom and she saw them right away and shes not one to believe in ghosts at all. She said she would have goosebumps all night...LOL!

We toured the Queen Mary when we visited California and it's very interesting. It's well worth seeing, ghosts or not.

I hope that they do an investigation of California's Whaley House sometime. That house is strange!

Oh wow I just watched The Whaley House on Most Haunted Places the other night. I pouted for awhile after leaving The Winchester House because we didn't get to go in. Of course we got there about 6 and it closed at 5 and DH would have NO PART of anything haunted.

We did go to The Hotel Del Coronado though but we didn't see Kate Morgan.

Isn't the Hotel del Coronado gorgeous?! When I first saw it, I said to DH "look, it's the Grand Floridian but prettier!" I'm so determined to stay there one day and maybe I'll run into poor Kate.

As for haunted stuff, DH is very patient with my curiosity. He gets to see interesting historic places so he's OK with it.

I don't see anything in the close up. Is this the far left or the far RIGHT (for us, not the house--which one should we be looking at?) window?

I love TAPS! It gives my 12 year old the creeps though, she won't watch it.

I see both a male and female in the picture. The female is the whole body (almost) the man is either above her head or behind her.

I thought I was the only TAPS nerd on the board! I caught this show over the summer and now I'm hooked! I love Grant and Jason and the TAPS team

I was so excited that they were returning to the prison where they had some great footage shot last year (that I never saw because I didn't watch the show yet, see?), but that was a bummer. No activity!

TAPS is on Wednesday nights on the scifi channel.

BTW, I'm not really seeing anything in the picture. I'm going to look again!

Shugardrawers, TAPS stands for the Trans Atlantic Paranormal Society. It was founded by two guys who work for Roto rooter (they're plumbers!) and they take a team of people with equipment like cameras, EMF detectors etc. and investigate homes/places where people have had "experiences". Most of the time, they find nothing. Sometimes, they find some good evidence that they can't explain! It's a fun show!

Did you see the one where the lady wanted to be anonymous but they showed her town, her house, her neighborhood, the house across the street and her adress number was right above her mailbox on the front of her house?
