I don't think that James is falling for Parvarti's tricks. I think he is enjoying the warm body and back rubs and will use her until she is no longer needed. He is a smart man who knows how to play this game.

I hope you're right. But I have a feeling his hanging on Parvati will diminish his popularity this time around. Should be an interesting season!

oh please. The guy was sitting on TWO Immunity Idols and still managed to get himself voted off.

Hot body though.

As for the whole Parvarti thing - I don't know many Single 20-whatever year old men who say no to that. I'm sure he thinks he might as well enjoy himself while he's stuck out there for the next month.

I think you're thinking of Ethan Zahn? who is still dating Jenna M. As far as I know, Ozzy never dated anyone on the show- until now!

Well, I taped the Early Show this morning and when I went to watch it tonight JF wasn't on it! I was looking forward to seeing if his departure was an act or not. I guess they don't have the people who get voted off on the Early Show anymore?

I'm about 35 miles north of you, Amy. My daughter is a senior at Pitt and my son is a freshman at Waynesburg.

I haven't read the new Survivor's bios yet. Ford City is also about an hour from me.

So we DVRd it the other night and were able to sit down and watch it as a family last night. I just can not believe Johnny Fairplay. I hate hate hate him. we had to rewind it when there was tribal because it was soo confusing. lol but i am glad it played out like it diid because I don't think that much drama is good and i think he is just a jerk.

I read there are still a ton of surprises in this one. I also read someone does something dumber than when James didn't use the immunity idols. This article said that people are just duped left and right and Jeff can't believe it.

No comments yet about last night's show?

I couldn't believe the fans tribe last night - they were all just standing around watching while 2 of them tried using the flint to get a fire going. (Sorry, I don't know all their names yet) They're all talking about how they need to fix their shelter, but nobody was doing a darn thing about it! And then they split up and build 2 shelters? I was kind of hoping someone on the fans tribe would make it to the final 2 or 3, but at this point it doesn't look like it'll happen.

Exile Island reminded me why Cirie was chosen as one of the favorites: she's hilarious!! I loved her little comments about reading one clue and they have to go back across to the other side and then back again! I don't think she and Kathy found the hidden idol; don't they usually show us when somebody finds it?

I couldn't believe Chet on that challenge! He just gave up, stayed there and didn't swim to shore to let somebody else go after the key. I'm not a swimmer, but I know diving down deep is harder than just swimming on the surface; once he realized he had trouble with it, he should have come right back. I'm glad Jeff called him on it at tribal council, but then he tries to cover for himself. Duh!

What a wild vote! I really thought Chet would be the one to go, but I DO agree with their thinking to get rid of Mary before the "couple" thing got too intense. Look at what's happening on the favorites team with the couples!

I don't think Cerie and Kathy found the idol. I was hoping that, if they did, Kathy would give it to Cerie since she (Kathy) had the other one. Also, Kathy didn't seem so annoying this week. And I always liked Cerie, although I wouldn't say she was one of my favorites. She seems fun, but very much a fish out of water. But then again, she knows she is, and she's funny about it--I would hang out with her in a heartbeat, just wouldn't pick her as my "most likely to win".

They didn't. Everytime they thought they did it was just another clue.


I dont think Chet is going to last very long at all. He is already an outsider on his tribe and so far hasnt proven very useful in challenges.

Wow - not many comments at all yet! We watched the show late (had taped it).

The Fans tribe seems to be SOOO dumb!! It's like they think they know so much and that is hurting them!
* I can understand why they voted off Mary but I think it was too soon to make the tribe weaker.
* Chet was AWFUL at that challenge! He would have gotten my vote regardless! A strong team doesn't have to vote anyone off but with someone like Chet on the team, they will be going back to tribal council.
* The flint thing was frustrating! They should have been taking turns. Two people work on the fire starting; the others on the shelter.
* I can't believe the division among the Fans! I can't believe the younger ones had the nerve to ask the older 3 to help them make a strong shelter after they pushed them away from the cave. I can't believe the older 3 helped! I would have said, let's make this one bigger. Or adjoin them!
* Joel, the firefighter, (or brown haired He Man as I think of him) seems to be a real jerk. I also noticed that he voted for Tracy, despite pushing everyone else to vote for Mary. I wonder what he's up to......

On the Favorites side
* Geez, was Ozzy born to play this game?!? He is amazingly good! Too bad he can't keep his hands to himself (Ick to the major makeout scene! I hope Cerie wasn't implying what I think she was. I can see it now.... "well, honey, your name is Micronesia because your Daddy and I met there and 3 days later, we made you." I guess everyone still smells clean.
* I feel like the Favs really came together as a tribe and worked together great! Go Favs! I hope they win the next several rounds so the Fans learn they have to work as a TEAM.

I know! I just got to watch the episode now, and I had to rewind and pause on that one! I think he got scared at the last minute, but if it was strategy, wasn't he supposed to be voting out Chet? Because he still went against his tribe by voting for Tracey. Here are a few theories on that one (since I have a sleeping baby on me & have nothing better to do ...)

1. He got scared, but was too dumb to understand that Mike said guys should vote 4 Chet (he kept saying he couldn't understand what Mike was saying even though it was pretty clear,) so he actually THOUGHT he was supposed to vote for Tracey.

2. He got scared, but still wanted to be defiant to Mike, so he didn't follow the plan exactly.

3. He threw a vote Tracey's way because he thought some people might vote for him (because he was "doing so much running around,") and he trusted that all 3 girls would vote Tracey.

4. He's just dumb. (Doesn't he look just like a caveman? No offense to any cavepeople on the board! )

Anyone want to clear this up? I clearly have too much time on my hands!
