Hi All!! Mind if I join your thread? I love Survivor & this season looks to be an interesting one!!

I too was pretty sad to see Yau Man go last night & have never been very fond of Cirie....she just seems a little too full of herself for me. Frankly, I think there are a few players, on both sides, who seem a little "over confident"!!

Anyway, am looking forward to seeing where this season goes!!

Aha, here is this thread! I just have to get this off my chest...nobody probably agrees with me (except my sister!) but I really do not like ANYBODY on the fans tribe. They all just annoy the heck out of me! I really can't stand that big guy (don't even know his name) and Mikey B. Liked last week when they voted off his buddy Mary. hehe

I'm hoping one of the favorites wins...esp. Ozzy or James. I don't care if they already got a chance to win.

I dont really care for any of them either but I havent seen a lot of them. I dont like the Neanderthal looking guy.


Ozzy is my favorite. I do like Jonathan and Amanda too.

I thought tonight's episode was okay...I'm just not that interested in the Fans tribe since we have the Favorites tribe made up of people we already know. I am surprised that the 'older' people on the Fans tribe are sticking around and getting rid of the younger people (Mary, Mike B), since they were so outnumbered in the beginning. I thought they would just get picked off. Joel is really orchestrating everything on that tribe.

I'm a little confused about the Immunity Idols on Exile Island....Do they just keep reburying the Idol when someone finds and uses it at council? Or do they have 2 immunity idols hidden? I thought either Cirie or Kathy found it the first time they went to Exile Island. Or maybe I'm thinking about the idol that Yau Man pointed out to Kathy.

In the 1st episode, there were 2 immunity idols that were tied to the front of the boats. The deal with those was that you could only use it the FIRST time your tribe went to tribal council; after that it was worthless. Exile Island has/had a hidden immunity idol, and this one is the one you can hang onto and use whenever - up until the final 4 or 5. As far as I know, there's only 1 idol on Exile Island.

Cirie and Kathy never found the idol, they got tired of looking for it. Kathy did have that one from the beginning that Yau told her to get but she could only use it the first time she went to council.

I love that Ozzy found it and then made the second one, lol.

Thank you both for clearing that up for me! I thought that Kathy or Cirie had found the immunity idol on Exile Island, and so I wasn't expecting Ozzy to find an idol.

Yeah, I thought that was funny that Ozzy took a page out of Yau's book and made a fake immunity idol. Though I don't know if it'll fool anyone since it just looks like a whittled stick.

I agree that they should've voted Chet off and kept Mike so that they can actually win challenges. Joel might be a little early with his power plays. Joel, I think, will want to keep Chet around so that he has the number advantage over the other alliance. If Chet somehow manages to stay in until the merge, at least he won't be a threat in the individual immunity challenges. But then again, that won't even matter if there are hardly any people left from their tribe once the merge happens!

That's what I was thinking. I'm curious to see what happens next week when they switch tribes. Even with the new tribes, I don't think Chet is going to stay around once the Favs see how little he does.

But when Chet doesn't help around camp, that just makes more work for the younger people and gives them less energy for the challenges.

I dont mean they are losing just because of him but he is weak. The challenges he has been in he wasnt good and around camp I dont see him doing anything useful.

Personally there is no one on the fans tribe that I really care for at all. They just dont seem to be the brightest bunch.

Wouldn't it be funny if James found the fake idol - and after his last season when he didn't play any of his 2 immunity idols and got voted out, he thinks he's playing it smart by using it this time and Jeff's like "uh, thats not the idol".

I thought this week was just okay. Ozzy found the idol very easy, I am surprised that all the times that Kathy has been to Exile she didn't go with him to try and find it. She doesn't seem to bright.

Next week should be interesting when they mix up the teams. Can't wait to see who goes where.

This is part of the reason why I thought that she had already found the idol on Exile Island. The last few times she's been there, she hasn't looked for the idol, when she could easily be next on the chopping block.

I think Ozzie is one of the best players of this game. Sadly, the other weaker players will see this and band together to get rid of him. He is truly the only one that can really survive out there. I hope he wins it all. But you also have to survive human nature, and that's to get rid of competition.

I too am not impressed at all with the Fans. Have they learned nothing from watching 14 seasons or however many it has been However, the way Tracy worked Joel last night was priceless. I am starting to like her now.

I was never one who liked the stategy of just keeping the strongest physical players. There are just too many facets to the game, with the tribe switcheroo next week proving that point. I think if you have a chance to get rid of someone you perceive as a threat you need to do it the first chance you get, so I agreed with the Mickey B vote.
