I'm really suprised Matty didn't make an announcement about his engagement...I would have thought Jeff might have mentioned something about it at TC if he knew.

So much goes on that we don't see. I am sure he came back walking on air and announced he got engaged, but since we the viewers already saw it, the producer's did not need to take up anymore of the hour showing us the rest of the tribe's reaction.

Did you notice Matty when Corrine didn't use her idol? He smiled and almost jumped for joy. So he knew what the plan was. He knew if Corrine stood up with an idol, he was gone.. You could tell by his facial expressions as Jeff was asking them about paranoia and trust. Yet, we were not shown any of that. All we knew was Crystal, Kenny, Bob and Corrine were in on it.

I think the flaw last night was trying to play two fake idols in back-to-back councils. Think about it--if Bob really had the "tossed" one, why not give it to Randy last time? And Bob made that one, everyone (but Randy) knew he had, it doesn't take a genius to figure out he might have made another one. And if it WAS real, Kenny's vote for Matty wouldn't have mattered--it would only require one vote for someone to leave--assuming everyone else voted for Corinne.

I think Kenny's in for a shock when people realize he's thinking he's the puppet master here.

I still like Crystal, Sugar, and Bob. I hope Bob wins immunity again next time--I'd love to see Kenny go. I think Susie is safe because she's harmless.

I am so glad the plan didn't work .l can't stand Corrine - she reminds me of Jerry from season 2.

I'm not really loving anyone this season. I guess if I had to pick a winner I'd like to see Bob or Matty.

I am glad it didn't work. Corrine talked as if she were so smart and everyone else was just plain dumb. If she is so smart, how in the heck did she think this was going to work? The alliance of 5 did not need anyone to swing and vote for Matty. If the idol was real and she used it, Matty's two votes would of been enough. Crystal figured it out, thank God! I can't stand Corrine, and it will be interesting to see how she reacts to the other players at the reunion show. You know Jeff is going to call her on the carpet about how she felt she was better than everyone else.

Why does she hate Sugar so bad? Man, those were some seething last words she had.

This is what I was going to post. I'm pretty sure Crystal and Kenny decided to vote that way so the idol would get flushed out and they would get rid of a power player - Matty.

Bob's lasting a lot longer than anyone else his age has

Bob is only 58. (he looks 70) Rudy was 72 and he made it to 4th place. Yau-Man was 55 and made it to 4th place.
Bob is doing as well as a lot of past contestants in his age range have. Lillian was in her mid to upper 50's and made it to the final tribal in 2nd place.

I still like Sugar and Bob and hope one of them wins. I really didn't care if it was Matty or Corinne who left last night but in the end I preferred Corinne leaving.

Where is Bob getting all the stuff to make the idols? I can't imagine there are beads and stuff just hanging around.

I thought too his wife looked a lot like Olympia Dukakis.

Corrine is a sales rep. I told my husband if I ever saw her coming in to sell me anything I'd tell her to turn around and hit the road. I wonder how her sales will be now that people have seen her true colors.

Actually, I think Kenny screwed up by telling Crystal to vote for Corinne. He wanted to get rid of Matty, and get the idol out. They could have told Corinne they were going to vote for her to get the idol out (if she'd had it) but still had Crystal vote for Matty in case she didn't, which would still have gotten rid of Matty. As it is, now his hand is tipped and no one will trust him. He could have played it smarter by considering both alternatives.

But, I'm rooting for Bob, so I've got to hope he keeps winning immunity.

No one will blame Bob for making a fake idol. He is doing what he needs to do to stay in the game. BUT...everyone will be po'ed at Kenny. He jumped sides! And not to save his rear, but to off Matty who he sees as a threat.
In other words, Bob acted out of necessity but Kenny acted like a traitor.

Do they have something like this? Like on Big Brother when they get to the Jury House? I would love to see the jury and how they interact with each other.

I also wanted to know where Bob is getting all these beads and stuff to make the fake idols. My DH asked the same thing this AM.

All Kenny/Crystal need to say to Matty is they "played" Bob/Corinne and had him covered with Crystal's vote. Kenny/Crystal tell their alliance they were trying to force Corinne's hand and keep Bob talking all while they were playing them since they suspected the idol was a fake.

The conversation between Kenny/Crystal did indicate they would be rid of Matty and the idol, but their alliance doesn't know that. I still think that Crystal was pleased as punch that Corinne was given the boot; Kenny, not so much. . .then again, he could be feigning the look to keep Bob in his pocket. You have to wonder if they did shared the plan with Matty--guess we'll find out next week.

Count me among those that cannot stand Corinne! She grates on my last nerve and I agree with the pp, if I saw her coming in her capacity as a sales rep, she'd be hitting the revolving door. She sure has a high opinion of her own intellect. Didn't she say she was a Florida grad?

I'm rooting for Matty at this point, but wouldn't be upset with Kenny, Bob, or Sugar either. . .not a real definitive year for me.
