no price has been posted yet

No, there's no type of discount allowed :(.
This is straight from the HUB
Q8) Will you offer a DVC/AP/Tables in Wonderland/Cast Member discount at either offering?
There is not a discount associated with Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood & Vine or the “Star Wars” Dine-In Galactic Breakfast! at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.

See this makes no sense. First off they aren't contacting people to tell them the price has changed or that it will cost an additional credit and now people who would of used the discount will be surprised to find this out. Very poor way of handling this. I hope people who had ADRs here already manage to get some sort of heads up before they arrive at the restaurant.

I had an ADR booked at H&V for Fantasmic on 5/29, and they called me a few days ago to let me know it has changed to Jedi Mickey and that it is now a 2 ticket meal... And to see if I wanted to change my reservation because of it.

Is this a pre-pay experience, or just a reserve your space? What ages are allowed to partake in the experience? And, do you have an idea of the cost of the experience? I think my 9 year old and 42yo husband would enjoy this. Me too, if it isn't a ridiculous cost.

Thanks for this wonderful thread and keeping us posted as information becomes available.

My son did this and loves his stormtrooper.
It was around 100.00 prepaid last year for D Tech Me.

I took photos and included it in my Star Wars Trip Report linked below.
Click on the segment titled. "A Star Wars D-Tour" from the index page.

Ok here's what I could find at the moment
2 day cancellation policy, if you don't show or cancel within the 2 days it's $25 per person
Kids 3 and up can participate
Credit card is required at time of booking but not charged when booking
no price yet posted, let me see what it was last year

Right. I had to go back and see when my son was charged. It was the day of the event.
So just to correct the record, we didn't prepay last year.
They took a CC to reserve it but he didn't pay until he got there.
Also $99 did not include tax and shipping.

Thanks to both of you for the quick response. As much as I love the idea, I don't know if I can afford to shell out $100 for it. I will see what I can do. :)

Well that's good then! But still poor planning to create more work.

it hasn't been announced yet but I expect it to be at 11am like in years past.

Cool (albeit expensive!). Was this only offered during SWWs or during the weekdays (while SWW is going on) as well?

Is it hard to get a reservation?

I don't know what this means? "The experience, due to its personalized nature, is non-refundable and not eligible for an exchange." (do they mean non-refundable after the fact? or that you can't cancel it without penalty?)

I just called and the CM said they are not taking reservations for D Tech Me figurine scannings for a couple of weeks yet.:(

So is it hard to get a ressie once they start taking them?

Man.. I really wanna do the D-Tech experience this year since we passed on it last year.

In the HUB it says they will start taking reservations this Monday. I don't think last year was hard, if interested would call Monday

Only during the weekends since they do it inside Darth Maul. When they say non refundable is that after you order it and it arrives at your home you can't return it our exchange it. You can cancel your reservation 2 days prior to the day of. If you look on YouTube there are some videos that show the process

Can you provide a link to the HUB.....thank you.

I was just thinking about asking if this would be back. Glad to hear it is. I'm very tempted and there are so many options now. I thought I wanted a stormtrooper, but I actually have X-wing and Princess Leia costumes so now I can't decide! :)
