Official Star Wars Weekends 2014 Tips and Tricks

Okay, I'm getting really aggravated. I changed my other FP times so there wasn't a conflict in times causing it. I even logged out and back in.

There is no option for Visit to the Maul for me on 6/7 at all. And Stars of the Saga says no more times available (otherwise, I'd flip these two days and take Maul on the 8th). :headache:

Try it the way I just mentioned in the previous post. It should work. I am dealing with the same exact weekend.

I had to select everything else new to gain access to all the new special event Tier I options.

I tried swapping around my husband's TSMM FP for Behind the Force Star: Rebels on June 14, but it kept saying that no alternate time was available.

I like the times of my other FP+, so I don't really want to have to screw around with rebooking all of them.

I'll keep trying, but he's cool with standing in line, if necessary.

are you holding a fp for something else around that same time? it won't let you pick anything if it's during the same time
Behind the Force won't be hard to get into without a fp so you don't have to worry if you don't want to move the other times around

Came back and re-read here, so re-booked all my FP for the 16th and was able to get Stars of the Saga. Woo!

I had the same thing happen when I went in to modify an existing FP+ experience. So I hit cancel and went back in to book a "new experience", and everything under Tier I showed up and was accessible.

Thank you, posion ivy -- I owe you one! :flower3:

I have no idea why I was able to change my 6/8 Tier 1 for Stars of the Saga with no problem, but I had to select all new for 6/7 to get Visit to the Maul to even display as an option. Now, to sit down and really tweak what I want since I've secured the shows. Woo hoo!! Thanks again, poison ivy!

A fellow 501st member I have trooped with before got to throw out the first pitch at the Cincinnati Reds game this weekend!

Here's us trooping together a few weeks back... Just so you get a size reference I am 6 feet tall... the red head on the right
(What she has to do to get the height is amazing, and she can dance in that costume too, we were dancing around during this troop as well, it was so funny!)

Just got Stars Of The Saga for the 7th and Visit To The Maul for the 8th

So excited !!! :cool1:

Had to drop RnRC due to the tiering but hey, I can do that any time

So, I had to give up TSMM for Obi-Wan FP for June 13, but Stars of the Saga did not even come up. Am I missing something? I am on the Disney website.

Great pics!

We need Chewie at the Phillies games! He looks incredible.

Keep us posted on your progress in getting approved. Love hearing all the details.

Poison ivy suggests book "new experience" and see if that works for you.

Yes, So far Stars of the Saga and visit to the Maul aren't showing up if you only select the "change" option to modify an existing FP+ reservation.

You have to choose the " Select or Replace" option to book a new experience and reselect everything to hopefully get all shows to appear.

good luck.

Ok Thanks I've got that now and see all options but now which to book for Tier 1, Obi-Wan or Stars of the Saga? and why?

Man I wish two were Tier 1 and two Tier 2 instead of all Tier 1. Okay this may be a repetitive question & if so I'm sorry but I am trying to make FP+ quickly during my lunch break... If I'm only making 2 days of FP+ reservations but want to watch all 4 shows, which two would you recommend be the priority for FP+?

southernfriedmom: personally, a lot depends on your family and the weekend you are attending.

We're all adults, and are there Weekend IV so we picked the two shows that are the hardest to get in to - Ray Park's Visit to the Maul (which has a great interactive workout with Ray and all the kids onstage) for Friday night 6/6 and Stars of the Saga (which interviews the celebrity guests) for Sat. 6/7.

Same weekend that I'm going, hope they have some room left cause I cant pick my passes till tomorrow.

Behind the Force and Obi Wan are probably the two shows that are the easiest to get into without waiting in the line for an hour or so.

As for Stars of the Saga it is going to depend on who the celebrities are. Some will be easier than others.

The solo shows for Ray Park and Warwick Davis are highly entertaining and they are popular as only those celebrities do them. James Arnold Taylor does a great job with his show, but he will be performing it each day, so it's easier to get into. His show did take a bit of a hit in prior years because he didn't draw anyone who was willing to wait 2 hours for the Hoopla.

Thanks so much for the FP help. I decided to book Saga which is earlier in the day and will plan for it to be the last FP of our day and then check for Obi-Wan as a 4th FP option.

Would love to hear if anyone else was successful at booking 4th FP for SWW events over the weekend?
