The 501st and rebel legion are the only one s that march all the way to star tours, the rest just go up to the hat

Good to know - last time we ere there, they did the whole parade and no "preview show".

It looked like the first day they drove off though...

Oops, and a bus may not get you to DHS in time, so you may want to plan on taking a cab from the resort.

I am one of those annoying posters that is probably asking a question that has been answered in a previous post, but there are so many pages to this thread it would take forever to find the answer.

We are going to be a SWW the very last day (Sun, June 9th). What time should we get there if...
1. We would like to catch the storm trooper show at opening
2. Want to get our 2 boys signed up for JTA
3. Are not really interested in getting celeb signatures (not needing fastpasses for those).

Also, if we are staying at Saratoga Springs, when would we need to catch a bus to get there at your suggested time?

Based on my experiences from the first weekend...

I would get to the park by 7am so you are close to the front of the turnstiles.
They've been opening the park at 730am. And then they let people in and stop them at the corner of Hollywood & Vine. The Stormtroopers comes out there to do their show. It's NOT done at the gate as in the past.

Try to be on the left side, so after teh show you can go with the masses towards Indiana Jones to signs up for JTA. ALso, if you have a stroller, know now you can't bring it in to IJ for signups. I learned that the hard way and we never made it in.

We're at the outside seating for backlot express to watch the 501st coming thru

We were out on the main street by the roped off area for wheelchairs again. My Boyfriend got good photos when we get home we will be putting a album together of both parades and posting a lunk for everyone.

We were there yesterday and had a wonderful day. We managed quite a bit considering there is no way I can consider getting my husband to any park at any time for any event earlier than 9am, no matter how big a fan he is! We really enjoyed the roaming characters so much more than the queuing characters - we found you can play with them more, whereas with the queuing ones all you do is take photos with them. My son wore a UK t-shirt of 4 storm troopers crossing over the Abbey Road zebra crossing (famous Beatles album cover) and all the characters seem to make a beeline to him just for that. As we were walking into the Ray Park Visit to Mall show, the CM said "nice shirt" and promptly went on to give both my sons the wrist band to go up on stage with him!

Anyway, I'm afraid I too have a few questions:

1: We watched the motorcade from near the exit of Indianna Jones. It was great and the costumes and members of the legion were fantastic, but we were just wondering what the difference being the other side of the stage made? I know the Celebs are in the parade up to the stage, but we were wondering if there were any Disney characters dressed in SW costumes as well. Basically just wondering how much we missed and if it's worth catching it again pre the stage!

2: We are here this w/e and next w/e and at the moment planning on going for our 2nd SWW day tom. Do you think we would do better leaving our 2nd day till next w/e when it is not a public holiday w/e?
