If I am looking at the map and comparing to your notes, I think I might have found the Chip and Dale Ewoks.
1.-Disney SW: Jedi Mickey, Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy ,Stormtrooper Donald and R2MK. – By Sorcerer’s Hat on Map
2.- Chewbacca and Ewok: They are at the Speeder by Star Tours To the Left of #3 on map
3.- Darth Vader: & 4.- Darth Maul: I’ll admit I’m not sure which is the entrance and exit but both are Character Spots on the map
5.- Bobba and Jango Fett: 3rd bad guy CS on map outside of TSM
6.- Clone Wars. Ahsoka Tano, Asajj Ventress, Rex and Cody: Bottom of map by #5 to right
7.- Jedi Council. Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Shaak Tii and Kitt Fisto: Bottom of map by #5 to left.
8.- Queen Amidala: By ABC Sound Studio on map
9.- C3P0, R2D2, Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia: In Darth’s Mall on map
This leaves one extra spot unaccounted for between Queen Amidala and Chewy. Chip and Dale Ewoks?? Anyone??

Are you saying from park opening till parade you only met 1 character?...Did you do anything else during that time, like ride rides? And what time did you get a parade spot.

We haven't watched the parade in 2 years.

The first time we did (2009), the park opened at 9am and the parade was at, I *think* 11:30. The first year we were there for rope drop (and about 20 people back from the turnstyle). We rode TSMM standby and then we saw Vader. It took just over an hour to do both. The curbside seats were few and far between at that time so we took our spot and waited. (This was probably about 10:15am)

The second year (2010), similar parade timing, but I think we grabbed a TSMM FP, then saw Vader and then I believe Jedi Mickey. Curbside seats were gone so we headed towards the American Idol building and sat next to the "busts" to the left of the building. Probably about 10:30 am at this time. (Also, please remember, both of these times were when the parade route was longer and went all the way to the Jedi Stage).

After 2 years of waiting over 90 minutes to watch a 15 minute parade we decided it wasn't worth it anymore, especially once they cut the parade route length in half.

I'm not telling ANYONE not to see the parade. You should. Its great. But if you want prime viewing you WILL need to get that spot early. We prefer to be in the character lines instead of waiting for the parade now.

Someone on WDW Magic posted that they would be meeting near Chewy, in that little "grassy area" near the Sci Fi. Honestly, I am having a tough time picturing where this would be (The DSA?) Also, that area is crowded enough between Chewy, Star Tours and Jedi Training so I really, REALLY hope he is wrong!

It is too bad that this surprise element has been revealed, but I guess this is a fairly limited audience. Chewbacca and the ewoks will meet at the speeder bike. Chip and Dale as ewoks will meet at the little park area caddy corner from the entrance to SciFi Drive-in.

Oh ok that makes sense now...I was thinking 7:30/7:45 rope drop and then 12:40 parade and couldnt imagine only seeing 1 character in that time lol...

We want to "see" the parade but I am not into getting a spot 90 min before...if we show up 20-30 min before will we get any sort of view at all?...We are doing SWW on Sat and Sunday maybe we will hold off on parade till Sunday...I wont be heart broken if we missed it but it would be nice to see.

there's a rumor and now that you've got me looking properly at the map it might be true:
Chip and Dale will probably meet very close to the Sci Fi Diner...for you guys that are familiar there's an area that used to be a smoking area, now they have face paiting and a cart in front of the speeder...looking at the map there's a symbol for good guys character right on top of the NYC facade, that's where they'll probably be. It has a lot of tress so it'll look more Endor-ee for Chip and Dale as Ewoks

crowd-wise it'll be a nightmare...unless they block that path and do what they do during the Osborne Lights, having people coming from Sounds Dangerous/Star Tours area go down to the left by Tattoine Traders to go around and come back up the other side onto Commisary Lane....

We got an Anker astro 2 dual from Amazon - great reviews and currently half price. We've only used it once so far, but so far so good for iPhone 5! (It also works with a whole slew of other phones)

The Anker ASTRO3 is also what my boyfriend got and we have gotten at least three full charges out of it for our Samsung Galaxy S3s We like it alot!

Line for characters to get pictures and autographs.... there's also lines outside the park to get fast passes for celebrities autographs and photos

a new video for Cast Members only has Dan Cockerell talking about the event. He confirms Chip and Dale as Ewoks but didn't say where, custodial cast members will be making water art with their brooms of R2D2 and Vader around the Star Tours area, Sotrmtroopers will be patrolling around the Tip Board area, there will be a special lightsaber umbrella sold at Darth Mall (it looks really cool, must have) and a print directly to phone cover with your favorite SW character...

How awkward with Anakin in front of that Attack of the Clones Geonosis arena front but in his episode 3 gear. That is a very good friend IMO. This Anakin is my favorite, from what I understand he should be back this year. I saw his friend, Snow White's Prince, not that long ago.

Anyway, I love seeing these old SWW photos-keep sharing!
