Official Star Wars Weekends 2013 Tips and Tricks

Forgot who asked... the Cars Star Wars toys have not arrived yet. They will have them next weekend... or so they're hoping

DD is reporting she and her group of friends began waiting for Hoopla almost 3 hours before show time and at least 10 rows of people are in front of them! Shortie girl says she can't see anything but the AI finale is showing on the Hoopla screens with super loud volume.

I love hearing all these updates! It is getting us very excited for our sons Make-A-Wish trip in a couple weeks! His wish is to go to Star Wars Weekend.

What time did the buses start running this morning and what time was rope drop? Also, does anyone know how long it took JTA to fill up?

We were there today, arrived at 745 and went straight to Jedi Mickey. We were the first to have to wait while they switched sets, so we got Goofy and Donald. We then went to Chip and Dale, since a cm told me Chewy had not arrived. The poor CMs were a wreck over it, so I'm glad they were able to offer something. Anyway, we waited about 30 min for Chip and Dale. We then hit Darth Vader, which was our longest line at just over an hour. We took a break for an early lunch at 11 ( the parade was not a possibility at that point, we had no where to stand and we were overheated). We went back for Darth Maul (15-20min), then did the Jedi Council. While waiting for the Council (15-20min) we got pics with the Clone Troopers. We decided we were done at that time (1230) but took a shot at getting in to the tent. It was a 90min wait, so DS did the magic shot pic of him fighting Darth, and we left. We will go back Sunday for DS DTECH experience, and try to get the few characters we missed.

I just asked 3 different character cm about Darth Vader meeting during the parade, here are the answers:
1.we don't have a parade anymore... oh you mean the motorcade, yes he meets during that
2.j not sure, AK that guy I think he's one of our team leaders
3 no he doesn't he can't be at two places at once....I say that last year he was meeting during it because he was so popular... he says... oh I'm not sure
So tomorrow I'll be at Darth Vader area during the parade....

We made it to WDW and walked around DS, when we went to the mail for merchandise there was a 3 hour wait, we waited for a while and around 3 pm and it dropped down to a 45 minute wait so we went for it.

We are now resting in the hotel getting ready to get up and try to be Ray Park's FP line for 4 am. I am worried that still not early enough.

The park opened around 7:45 but the gave out the wristband and fast passes late so I'm sure tomorrow they will open earlier...jta filled up in 45 min.

We had friends in line after 2am for merchandise. They collect vinylmation and were bummed to find out once they got into the tent the vinylmation they were looking for hadn't come in either.

We are at AKV-Kidani and were on a bus about 6:45 this am. Stormtroopers were done with their show/rope drop about 7:45. No idea on the JTA but our server for breaky said he had a family in before us who got there at 8am and they got into the 6pm show (and weren't happy it was so late apparently....but I'm sure they still took the spots without saying no!).

On Facebook, people are reporting Hoopla was even better than last year's. DD, who waited close to three hours to see it, says it was definitely worth the wait!!

Aw! I'm sorry I'm just getting to this now. Even though it doesn't really matter now, we were to the right of the stage, kind of in front of the tech tent, and about 10 rows close to the stage.

Itinerary wise, how did that look? hmm...only Disney SW you met were ewoks?

The order they are listed is the order we met them lol, I went through my autograph book and listed them in order lol.
Yes, we felt that it will be better to slip in to tomorrow. Cause tomorrow morning we'd like to meet Vader again, C3PO and just slip into that line after the parade and in between shows. We only did the Chip and Dale Ewoks cause we caught them with a 20 minute line.





And the Hoopla was amazinggggg!
